If you’ve set sail on a Disney Cruise before then you know why we are so excited to see The Disney Wish.

Every Disney Cruise ship is decorated with a classic character—and this ship is no different. The Dream features the magic of Sorcerer Mickey, The Fantasy shows our favorite flying elephant, Dumbo, The Wonder showcases Donald and one of his pesky nephews, and The Disney Magic has our favorite goofball suspended by his pants, Goofy!

The Disney Wish is the fifth ship Disney will be sailing into the high seas, and it is set to have Rapunzel as the character featured on the ships stern… with her trusty sidekick, Pascal! Rapunzel will be seen doing what she does best—painting!

When you set sail on a Disney Cruise, every family is greeted by cheering and smiling Cast Members in the grand entrance. The grand entrance features a larger than life staircase and a stunning chandelier to match. The Disney Wish ship is meant to have the same style of entrance, but with the inspiration pulled right out of a fairy-tale.

Disney is always advancing their technologies and doing their part for the environment, which is why I am thrilled that the ship will be powered by liquefied natural gas. Liquefied natural gas—which is non-toxic and emits less harmful chemicals into the ocean!

Disney has also reported that there will be more beloved characters than ever before—which means maybe we will get to see some special or rare characters? (Here is hoping!)

With Rapunzel as the star of the stern, we can assume that this ship’s theme will be focused heavily on the enchanted stories of our favorite Disney princesses. The Disney Wish sets sail in January of 2022.
