Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright is now available for pre-order. The game is a first in the series, Ravensburger’s first single-character expansion to the Disney Villainous franchise.

It’s an exciting time for Disney gaming fans! Disney Lorcana just made its official nationwide debut, giving fans the chance to play the highly anticipated trading card game. And if you’re a fan of the Disney Villainous franchise, this fall is sure to be an exciting one for you. Ravensburger, the company behind Disney Villainous, has just revealed that they will be introducing a new Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired expansion for the popular game.
Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright Available to Pre-Order
Ravensburger will be releasing its first-ever single-character expansion to Disney Villainous — and it’s now available to pre-order. The new game, Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright, features Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the expansion includes new mechanics inspired by the character.

“Oogie Boogie is one of our most highly requested characters for Disney Villainous, so we are ecstatic for fans finally to immerse themselves in his Villainous story,” said Mike Mulvihill, Game Development Manager at Ravensburger North America. “We tried to be as authentic as possible, including bringing his iconic dice to the game – a first for Disney Villainous. The expansion strategy plays combative, confident, and sinister, where fans will be able to experience this beloved and boisterous character in an all-new frightful way.”
In the expansion, players take the role of Oogie Boogie as he tries to dethrone Jack Skellington. And players will be able to move Oogie Boogie to different locations from The Nightmare Before Christmas to unlock actions and can summon familiar characters like Lock, Shock and Barrel.

Each Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright game includes two dice sculpted to resemble Oogie Boogie’s die from the film.Or, if you get the Target version of the game, it also includes an “exclusive glow-in-the-dark Oogie Boogie mover.”
Release Date
You can play Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright in combination with any of the existing Disney Villainous games. You’ll need two to four players to play the game, which is best for ages ten and up. And pick up the game when it becomes available nationwide beginning October 1st, 2023, or you can pre-order it now online at Target for $14.99.
