12 Places Outside the U.S. You Can Book a Stay With Disney Vacation Club Points

by | Feb 14, 2025 | Disney Vacation Club, DVC Destinations

You don’t have to stay at Disney World or Disneyland if you’re a Disney Vacation Club member – you can travel outside the U.S. and enjoy awesome international destinations.

Before you start planning another trip to Disney World in an effort to use your Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points, consider this: What about an international vacation?

While Disney World may be home to a wealth of Disney Vacation Club resorts, and Disneyland is another popular choice, you have so many more options when it comes to vacationing as a DVC member. And one of the coolest aspects of your membership is that you can travel to resorts around the world, experience entirely different Disney Parks, and explore different countries.

So, why not make the most of your Disney Vacation Club points and skip the U.S. in favor of an international destination? Below, find 12 resorts outside the U.S. where you can book a stay with DVC points and experience an entirely new Disney vacation.

Paris, France

Home to Disneyland Paris and its two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios (soon to be renamed Disney Adventure World), the City of Lights is a great option if you’re looking to use your Disney Vacation Club points outside of the U.S. – you can combine a Disney vacation and a European adventure into one trip.

While Disneyland Paris technically isn’t in Paris (it’s about a 40-minute train ride from city center to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station, which is a 2-minute walk from the parks),  you’ll be close enough to the city to pop in for a day or two of exploration.

Stay at one of the following resorts, and you can have a magical Disney vacation and see some of France’s most iconic sights, all while using your DVC points.

Disneyland Hotel Paris

Recently reimagined and made even more magical than before, Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris is a five-star vacation destination. Enter this hotel, and you’ll be immersed in a regal setting inspired by Disney’s most iconic princesses and fairytales – and you’ll enjoy exclusive perks, like a dedicated entrance to Disneyland Park, Disney character encounters, and gourmet dining options right onsite.

Rooms start at 78 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Disney’s Sequoia Lodge

If it’s a cozy lodge you’re looking for on your next vacation, Disney Sequoia Lodge is the perfect place to use your Disney Vacation Club points. Inspired by America’s National Parks, you’ll feel like you’re visiting Yosemite – but you’ll be just a short drive from Paris, France. The scenery here is filled with lush pines and sequoias, and the resort sits right on the shores of Lake Disney.

Rooms start at 23 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel

You can stay in New York City without actually being in the U.S. – Disney Vacation Club members can use their points at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel for a super experience. This New York-inspired hotel is modern, filled with touches from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (including more than 350 pieces of Super Hero artwork), and features sophisticated theming.

Rooms start at 52 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Disney’s Newport Bay Club

If you’ve ever stayed at Disney’s Yacht Club or Disney’s Beach Club at Disney World, you’ll like the vibes and theming of Disney’s Newport Bay Club at Disneyland Paris. This nautically-themed hotel offers a four-star experience, with classic New England styling, gorgeous lakefront views, and indoor and outdoor pools inspired by the 1920s. Plus, you’ll love the Mickey and Minnie touches that subtly decorate every space.

Rooms start at 31 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Les Villages Nature Paris

If you’re hoping to use your DVC points but enjoy a vacation that’s not entirely Disney-focused, Les Villages Nature Paris is the perfect in-between option. Here, you can use your membership to enjoy a trip to a resort outside of the U.S., one that’s home to five immersive worlds, surrounded by nature, and designed with the environment in mind. Plus, it’s home to gorgeous gardens, a farm, a forest-themed outdoor play area, and even a water park.

Rooms start at 26 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Tokyo, Japan

Japan is a wonderfully family-friendly place to vacation, and in Tokyo there’s an endless array of places to explore, incredible restaurants to try, and unique sights to see whether you’re planning an adults-only trip or one with kids. The city is also near Tokyo Disney Resort and its two theme parks: Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea (like Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Resort is actually a short train ride outside of the city proper).

Tokyo Disney Resort is beloved by Disney fans around the world because of its unique, innovative takes on classic U.S. attractions from Disneyland and Disney World, plus its incredible food and merchandise. It’s a totally different experience from visiting the resorts in America.

Best of all, Disney Vacation Club members can use their points to stay at one of the resort’s hotels and be just a short train ride away from some of Tokyo’s best sights and experiences.

Tokyo Disneyland Hotel

DVC members can use points to book a stay at the luxurious Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, located just steps away from Tokyo Disneyland Park. Featuring Victorian theming and plenty of fantastical touches pulled right out of a fairytale, the hotel offers adorably themed rooms inspired by classic films like Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella.

Rooms start at 54 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel

If you’re looking for a more casual and fun-filled option that’s perfect for kids (or kids at heart), the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel is the perfect place to put your DVC points to use outside of the U.S.. This more casual resort features Value Resort-level rooms, all with fun, brightly-colored Disney character theming. It is a touch more “Disney” than other resorts on this list, but guests who love a true Disney vacation will adore this hotel.

Rooms start at 24 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Disney Ambassador Hotel

You’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to Hollywood’s Golden Age in the 1930s with a stay at Disney Ambassador Hotel. Situated between Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, this Art Deco hotel has touches of Disney characters and fun, but it’s more classic than other Tokyo Disney Resort options. If you’re looking for a character-free stay, that’s an option, too, with a host of simple guest rooms that offer a bit more variety.

Rooms start at 54 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta

If you’re looking for a luxurious place to stay outside of the U.S. with your DVC points, Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta is it. Located inside Tokyo DisneySea, you’ll be wholly immersed in the magic of the theme park – and the upscale theming makes for one extra-special stay. With Italian-inspired touches, incredible views of DisneySea’s Mediterranean Harbor port, and even views of some of the in-park shows, this is far from your average hotel. DVC members will get a bucket-list level experience at this upscale option.

Rooms start at 63 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Hong Kong, China

Put your DVC points to good use and head to Hong Kong! Whether you’re hoping for a fully Disney vacation or want to blend Disney magic with sightseeing throughout Hong Kong, this is a destination that offers a single theme park. And because Hong Kong Disneyland is smaller than the other international Disney theme parks, it’s an especially great destination for those who want to experience more outside the parks than within.

You can use your DVC points to book a stay at the following Hong Kong Disney resorts and enjoy as much – or as little – of both the local sights and attractions and those inside the theme park.

Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

Elegant, refined, and gorgeous thanks to its grand Victorian-inspired architecture, the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is home to enchanting rooms and details straight out of your favorite Disney fairytales. Here, you’ll find Deluxe-level accommodations, plenty of modern amenities, and sweeping ocean views. It’s like a timeless seaside resort, but in Hong Kong’s modern setting.

Rooms start at 35 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Disney’s Hollywood Hotel

If it’s that classic Disney storytelling you love as a Disney Vacation Club member, you’ll enjoy staying at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. Here, movie magic comes to life as you stay in surroundings that bring your favorite animated films and characters to life. The hotel features plenty of Art Deco inspiration, plus vintage cars, depictions of famous Hollywood landmarks, and rooms themed after Mickey Mouse and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Rooms start at 28 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.

Disney Explorers Lodge

Want to get even more of a taste of international travel? Use your DVC points to book a stay at Hong Kong Disneyland’s Disney Explorers Lodge, which immerses guests in the natural scenery of locales like Asia, Oceania, South America, and Africa. It’s a destination designed to introduce you to different rich cultures on a single vacation. With a focus on exploration, the theming here is less character-heavy and more nature-driven, offering a great place to relax if you’re looking for a “Disney lite” Hong Kong experience while still using your DVC membership outside of the U.S.

Rooms start at 30 points per night for Disney Vacation Club members.
