Disney has shared the Adventureland Treehouse opening date! Fans will be able to enjoy the newly refurbished attraction this November.

Ever since it was first announced, fans have been eagerly awaiting news on the upcoming Adventureland Treehouse at Disneyland Resort. Previously Tarzan’s Treehouse, in 2022, Disney shared that the attraction would be getting a fresh upgrade. In this case, the theming was reverted back to its original design — Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson. However, though the theming may be familiar, there are plenty of fun updates coming to this attraction! And now, Disney has shared an Adventureland Treehouse opening date so we can all mark our calendars!

Adventureland Treehouse Opening Date

Disney Parks Blog revealed that Adventureland Treehouse will open on November 10, 2023, at Disneyland Resort. The new attraction will pay tribute to the original treehouse Walt Disney and Walt Disney Imagineering created in 1962 after the movie Swiss Family Robinson. But, this new variation will include a new storyline that guests of all ages can enjoy.

Disney shared a few new concept images and details for what fans can expect this November. Among the new Adventureland Treehouse, you’ll find the mother’s music den, the sons’ nature room, and the daughter’s astronomer’s loft. There will also be a kitchen and dining room, as well as the father’s art studio. The storyline is that the “family fashioned an oasis among the trees inspired by nature and using objects found around them. Here, they can collaborate together while also pursuing their own individual skills, talents, passions, and interests.”

Now, the family has opened up their treehouse so that guests can climb in and explore! Near the stairwell, you’ll see the iconic waterwheel, which is powered by a nearby brook. The family created a pulley system that delivers the water high up into the tree, which generates the energy needed to activate all their work and inventions. Disney has shared concept art of the daughter’s room, which provides a view of the sky. She uses the area to track stars, planets, and comets with her telescopes, making note of her discoveries in her notebooks.

Mother’s room features musical instruments like a harp, lute, guitar, and organ. The twin brothers have packed their room with plants and animals. And the father’s studio is filled with gadgets and devices he invented.
