Disney Reveals New Food Items Coming to Animal Kingdom

Disney has shared new food and drinks that will be available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom beginning on October 11th, 2023.

The Halloween season is still going strong at Disney World, with plenty of delicious spooky treats to enjoy. And we’re just a few weeks away from the start of the holiday season and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, both bringing festive food to the parks. However, ahead of that, we can still enjoy new bites at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Disney has revealed that a plethora of new food and drink menu items will be available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom beginning this week!

New Animal Kingdom Food

We’re sharing a full guide to all the new food and drinks that will be available throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom beginning tomorrow, October 11th.

Tamu Tamu Refreshments

Over at Tamu Tamu Refreshments, you can enjoy new food and drink items. For breakfast, you can pick up a new Stuffed Pancake Sandwich with sausage, guava paste, egg, and cheese. For dinner, the Chicken and Shrimp Rice Bowls will be available. This dish will feature jollof rice with kachumbari tomato salad and tzatziki sauce and you can choose between chermoula-marinated chicken, peri peri-marinated shrimp, or both

For refreshments, there are plenty of new DOLE Whip treats to enjoy! Grab the DOLE Whip Orange Soda Float with strawberry syrup on top. Beginning October 11th, guests over 21 can enjoy the DOLE Whip Hard Cider Float with DOLE Whip and ACE Pineapple Crafter Cider.

Harambe Market

At Harambe Market, the Chicken and Shrimp Rice Bowl, Chicken Rice Bowl, and Shrimp Rice Bowl will all be available as well. There’s also a new kids’ version available, the Shrimp and Rice Bowl with peri peri-marinated shrimp, white rice, and a Cuties Mandarin Orange.

There’s also the new Beef and Lamb Kofta Pita, combining beef and lamb kofta with tzatziki sauce, chermoula, and house-made chips. For a plant-based version, you can grab the IMPOSSIBLE Kofta Pita with plant-based IMPOSSIBLE kofta and a plant-based aïoli, chermoula, and house-made chips. chermoula-marinated chicken with quinoa, grilled corn, black-eyed peas, and crispy chickpeas topped with a chermoula-herbed vinaigrette. You can also opt for shrimp instead of chicken.

For dessert, enjoy the Mango Passion Fruit Cheesecake, with mango and passion fruit in a beautiful cheesecake.

Stuffed Pancake Sandwich Coming to Various Locations

That delicious Stuffed Pancake Sandwich from Tamu Tamu Refreshments will also be available at Drinkwallah, Pongu Pongu, Trek Snacks, and select outdoor vending carts.

Made with sausage, guava paste, egg, and cheese, you can also choose to grab the sandwich with no guava.

Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery

Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery will be introducing new breakfast and snack options. You can enjoy the Egg and Bacon Croissant Sandwich with Tomato Pepper Relish, which is a croissant with a cheese omelet, bacon, and tomato-pepper relish served with potato barrels. There’s also the Breakfast Totchos with Eggs, Bacon, and Cheese, combining potato barrels, scrambled eggs, nacho cheese sauce, cheese curds, and crumbled bacon.

There’s also the plant-based IMPOSSIBLE Gatsby, a pita filled with plant-based picadillo, tomato-pepper relish, and crispy potato sticks topped with a plant-based aioli. Then there’s the Harissa Chicken Wrap, with harissa chicken salad, veggies, and an avocado spread on a spinach tortilla. Both items are served with house-made potato chips.

Pongu Pongu

Pongo Pongu will be introducing the Stuffed Pancake Sandwich, as well as a new Cinnamon Roll to enjoy when you visit Pandora — The World of Avatar.

Flame Tree Barbecue

Flame Tree Barbecue will offer the IMPOSSIBLE Burnt Ends, a plant-based dish paired with french fries and coleslaw.

Pizzarfari

Finally, Pizzarfari will introduce two new dishes. The Plant-based Italian Sausage is served alongside a side salad with Italian dressing. Additionally, the Antipasto Side Salad will soon be available as a side option for your meal.
