First Trailer for Disney’s Wish

Wish follows the story of 17-year-old Asha, voiced by Oscar-winning actress Ariana DeBose. In the first look at the trailer, we’re introduced to Asha, King Magnifico (voiced by Chris Pine), along with Asha’s pet goat, Valentino (voiced by Alan Tudyk), and Star, a “celestial ball of boundless energy” that Asha calls upon. Asha lives in Rosas, which is known as the Kingdom of wishes. Visitors travel to Rosas to share their wishes with the magical king; only he can decide which wishes will and won’t come true. In Wish, Asha makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force — Star.
