Disney has updated the branding for its popular Disney Pride Collection. All proceeds from the Disney Pride merch collection will go to charities like GLSEN, PFLAG, and The Trevor Project.
June is Pride Month, and it’s especially important for members of the LGBTQIA+ community in 2022. To show their support, Disney has yet again launched a Pride Collection, but for the first time since the collection launched in 2018, the company has updated the branding.
2022 Disney Pride Collection Looks a Little Different
That’s because Disney worked with members and allies of the community to “dream up and design” this year’s collection. Our first look at the collection showcases strong verbal affirmations, rather than just rainbows on classic Disney merch.

It’s an indication that Disney stands with the community. In fact, Disney says that it “supports inclusion as a core value.” Last year, Disney honored that statement by adding Inclusion as a Fifth Key to its iconic Four Keys (Safety, Courtesy, Show, and Efficiency) for Cast Members to embody.

Pride Merch Benefits Charities
Through June 30, all proceeds from the Disney Pride Collection sales (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars) will go directly to organizations that support LGBTQIA+ children and families.
These organizations include GLSEN, PFLAG, The Trevor Project, Zebra Coalition, Los Angeles LGBT Center, LGBTQ Center Orange County, San Francisco LGBT Center, and Ali Forney Center.
