Think you know the Disney Magic? Test your knowledge, and maybe even learn something new with these 8 Disney Magic Facts!

The Disney Magic was Disney Cruise Line’s first ship, and 24 years later, she continues to welcome guests. Cruisers have many options for dining, entertainment, and recreation on their journey, and we’re here to help guide you.

You’re on a Disney Cruise, and that means there is an extra touch of magic! The Disney Cruise Navigator App can guide you through your daily itinerary, and we have some insider secrets to share with you, too.

1. Become Part of Your Favorite Disney Stories

Themed dining is just one of the special experiences awaiting you on your Disney Magic Cruise. In addition to Animator’s Palate and Lumiere’s, Rapunzel welcomes guests at her very own restaurant, Rapunzel’s Royal Table.

As you “enjoy a feast fit for royalty” at a regal banquet, Flynn Rider, Rapunzel, and other characters from the movie celebrate the princess’ return to the Kingdom of Corona. Get ready to sing, dance, and cheer as you dine on delicious royal cuisine!

2. Avengers, Assemble!

If you’ve ever dreamed of web slinging with Spider-Man or having a dance-off with Star-Lord, you can make these dreams, and more, come true aboard Disney Cruise Line’s Marvel Day at Sea on the Disney Magic.

This special event takes place aboard select five-night cruises leaving from Miami and sails to The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean—and it includes special character interactions, menus, and world-class entertainment as part of Disney Cruise Line’s signature sailing experience.

3. A Fairytale Transformation

Young cruisers on the Disney Magic can undergo a magical transformation into a knight, pirate or princess in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Disney Fairy Godmother-inspired stylists help transform using accessories, costumes, and makeup.

While many things are included in the price of a Disney Magic Cruise, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience is an additional cost. Prices vary, and you need to book a reservation in advance.

4. Let Us Entertain You

The Disney Magic has almost endless entertainment for cruises from broadway-style shows, first-run movies, and fireworks. The Disney Cruise Navigator App will keep you informed about the where and when throughout your cruise.

One thing you won’t want to miss is the live music in the Atrium. We had the pleasure of listening to some amazing performers on previous cruises, so take some time to listen when they perform.

5. The Suite Life

We’ve yet to check off this item on our Disney Magic bucket list — mainly because of the cost — staying in the Walter E. Disney Suite on Deck 8. It’s an ultra-exclusive top-of-the-line signature experience on which you may want to someday splurge.

Disney Cruise Line doesn’t list the price on their website, yet we’ve heard it’s in the five-figure range. Let us know if you’ve stayed in the Walter E. Disney Suite on one of your Disney Magic Cruises!

6. A Little-known Dining Secret

Each of the Disney Magic’s signature restaurants feature fabulous cuisine. Each night you’ll experience a unique themed menu (Escargot anyone) throughout your cruise.

If you’re craving one of your favorite dishes from the previous night, you can ask your server if they can serve it in another restaurant. Keep in mind, however, they may have to go to a galley on another deck, so take that into consideration before you ask.

7. Makin’ Memories

Remember to take plenty of pictures on your Disney Magic cruise as you create many magical memories. While most cruisers travel with camera, or smartphone, in hand, Disney photographers are stationed throughout the ship and on Castaway Cay during your voyage to capture that perfect picture.

You can pre-order a photo package before your cruise once you’re paid in full. For a more formal setting, Disney Cruise Line also offers packages in Shutters Portrait Studio for private sessions.

8. Most Beverages are Included

One of our favorite extra touches on the Disney Magic is that most non-alcoholic beverages are included in the cost of your Disney Cruise. That’s right; you can get endless refills on fruit drinks and soda from the moment you step onboard.

Other drinks, such as smoothies and adult beverages, are available for an extra charge; although, if you purchase the drink of the day, you can get a discount on refills.

There is a lot to “sea” and do onboard the Disney Magic. Given the evolving situation with safety precautions, certain experiences may be altered or not be available during your cruise, so check the Disney Cruise Navigator App or ask a Crew Member. Bon Voyage!
