Going to Disney Jollywood Nights 2023? Find out how to make the most of your party time and ticket price as soon as you hit the gate.

Along with the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, we’re getting a new holiday event for 2023. Disney Jollywood Nights is a hard-ticketed event that takes place on select nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, giving guests access to the popular park with smaller crowds and special holiday events. We’re sharing a complete guide to the dates, pricing, entertainment, food, and more that will be available during Disney Jollywood Nights.

What is Disney Jollywood Nights?

Disney Jollywood Nights is a brand new holiday event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the first time in 2023. The event takes place on select nights throughout November and December, giving guests the chance to experience everything that Disney’s Hollywood Studios has to offer with smaller crowds after the park closes. The event includes special entertainment, exclusive food options, and event-exclusive shows for attendees.

Disney Jollywood Nights 2023 Dates and Ticket Prices

Disney Jollywood Nights occurs on select nights in November and December, starting November 9th through December 20th, 2023. Tickets cost anywhere between $159 and $179 per person, both adults and children. If you are a DVC member or an Annual Passholder, you can save $10 off your ticket price if you purchase online with your account linked. You can purchase tickets here.

Disney Jollywood Nights 2023 Arrival Information

The event takes place from 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM, but your ticket will allow you to enter the theme park starting at 7 PM. If you arrive prior to 7 PM, you will need valid park admission and a Park Pass reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Check-in for the event will take place at the main entrance beginning at 7 PM.

Disney Jollywood Nights Ride Availability

Several popular rides are available during the event, including Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Slinky Dog Dash, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. During the event, a virtual queue is in place for Rise of the Resistance.

Disney Jollywood Nights Entertainment

The big draw for Disney Jollywood Nights is the entertainment. The event includes several shows and exciting event-exclusive entertainment that guests can enjoy.

Twilight Soirée

You can enjoy Twilight Soirée at The Tip-Top Club, which is a “swingin’ soiree” in the courtyard of The Hollywood Tower Hotel. The entertainment includes a live band, with holiday tunes in jukebox style. There’s also an outdoor bar outside where you can enjoy specialty cocktails.

Holiday Fiesta en la Calle

Along Commissary Lane, you can enjoy a street fair party featuring “a live band with Latin beats and modern takes on food and beverage inspired by Hollywood classics.” There’s tons of food and drinks inspired by Latin holiday traditions as well, including:

  • Chicken Empanadas with Street Corn: Chicken empanadas served with a side of street corn salad topped with chili peppers, lime, and cotija cheese
  • Yuca con Chicharrón: Fried pork belly, yuca, red pickled onions, and chili pepper-lime seasoning with a yellow pepper aïoli
  • Mushroom Taco: Chili-roasted Mixed mushrooms, avocado crema, baby gem lettuce, and garnished with sliced radish (Plant-based Item)
  • Birria Taco: Shredded short rib and Monterey jack served with beef consommé for dipping
  • Tembleque: Coconut rice pudding with caramel rum sauce and cinnamon
  • Mexican Hot Cocoa Cheesecake: Spiced chocolate cheesecake on a chocolate cookie base topped with vanilla whipped cream and cocoa powder with a chocolate handle
  • Mangonada: Frozen mango beverage with mango-chili pepper-lime sauce and chili pepper-lime seasoning on top (Non-alcoholic)
  • Zero-Proof Piña Colada: Lyre’s Spiced Cane Spirit, coconut, pineapple, and lime
  • Oaxaca Old Fashioned: Casa Dragones Blanco Tequila, Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, agave nectar, Mexican chocolate, and orange bitters served over ice garnished with an orange

Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby

The beloved Hollywood Brown Derby has transformed into a jazz joint, with holiday tunes and decor. You’ll be able to sip on craft cocktails and enjoy light bites while enjoying music.

Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis until Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby reaches capacity for the first seating of the night. At that point, additional capacity will be opened up on the mobile walk-up waitlist through the evening on the My Disney Experience app. The queue for the first-come, first-served seating will open close to the beginning of Disney Jollywood Nights.

What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along at the Hyperion Theater

“What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along” takes place at The Hyperion Theater, and features live performers, characters, and effects alongside a sing-along for The Nightmare Before Christmas. Fans of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be thrilled to see the giant Jack Skellington on stage, the puppet that is typically exclusive to Not-So-Scary.

The show also features two pantomime performers who remain silent throughout the show, performing scenes alongside video on the screen behind them. One of the most show-stopping scenes features Oogie Boogie alongside tons of practical set pieces.

Even those who are not huge fans of Nightmare Before Christmas will likely enjoy this special show, which we found to be one of the highlights of the night at Disney Jollywood Nights.

Holidays in Hollywood at Theater of the Stars

At Theater of the Stars. Disney Holidays in Hollywood is a variety show featuring tons of favorite characters. This was a major highlight of the event, including appearances by the Muppets, Mickey and Minnie, Tiana, Belle, and more.

The show is set as a “live broadcast,” so features musical numbers with “commercial breaks” in between that offer fun banter between characters. The show includes a wonderful appearance by Kermit and Miss Piggy, with classic Muppets banter.

There is a big dance number with Mickey and Minnie, with excellent choreography. You’ll also see Belle sing in her holiday gown, as well as see Tiana sing an original holiday tune in a new outfit! This is a show you won’t want to miss, so make sure to check it out during one of its four performances of the night.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! returns as the seasonal nighttime spectacular with holiday music, special effects, and exciting projections.
