Disney Fairy Tale Weddings: 2020 Disney Princess Wedding Dresses

by | Dec 15, 2020 | Disney Style, WDW Blog

Check out the new Disney Princess wedding dresses in this collection by Allure Bridals.

I don’t want to out myself as someone who has wedding fever… but between watching Disney’s Fairytale Weddings on Disney+ and always scrolling on Pinterest, I can’t help but be obsessed with Disney themed weddings.

Below you’ll find Disney Princess wedding dresses inspired by:

  • Ariel
  • Sleeping Beauty
  • Belle
  • Cinderella
  • Jasmine
  • Pocahontas
  • Rapunzel
  • Tiana
  • Snow White

I have only ever seen one bride at Disney World. It was in 2012 at Magic Kingdom and the bride and groom were taking photos during the old firework show, Wishes.

The bride looked like an actual Princess. I don’t remember what the groom looked like because I was so taken away by her happily-ever-after moment that I was witnessing.

They were staging photos so that the bride and groom could be kissing while the fireworks twinkled and shone above them, and that was when I realized I want a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding!

As usual, Disney takes care of all the details, including the most important thing for a bride – her dress!

Allure Bridals is the official designer for the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding Collection, which has beautiful gowns inspired by the style and spirit of Disney Princesses.

Not only can brides be married at Disney World, but they can also channel their inner royalty by wearing a Disney Princess wedding gown.

Here are the nine dresses that are inspired by some of our favorite Disney royals!

Ariel Wedding Dress

A mermaid wedding dress is a style that is loved by many brides. It is when the dress is form fitting to the body until about mid-thigh (or lower) and then flares out. just like a mermaid tail.

This dress is a fin-tastic design to pay tribute to our favorite little mermaid, Ariel.

The ripples of the soft tulle and organza mock the beautiful ocean waves, which will allow the train of the dress to softly and elegantly follow the bride down the aisle.

Disney is all about paying attention to detail. To stay within the under-the-sea theming, the dress is clasped together at the back with a trail of beautiful pearls.

Aurora Wedding Dress

Unlike other Princesses, Aurora doesn’t wear any dress with frills or layers.

Although her dress is stunning, they are more soft and subtle. The Aurora inspired dress plays to her character very well.

The Sleeping Beauty inspired gown is strapless with a sweetheart neckline. The bodice is layered with a sparkly lace.

The dress is adorned with a bridal cape, which is also decorated with sparkling tulle.

The cape can be detached from the gown and is a great way to add drama and flair to this beautiful and soft gown.

Belle Wedding Dress

This ballgown skirt is inspired by Belle’s iconic yellow dress.

Belle had such a grand moment in the ballroom with Beast, and this dress will allow brides to live out Belle’s beautiful scene on their special day.

The sparkling tulle is layered with the embroidered Venise lace, and beads and sewn into the floral designs.

Cinderella Wedding Dress

My favorite moment in Cinderella is when Fairy Godmother transforms Cinderella’s rags into her famous blue ball gown.

The designers must have had help from Cindy’s mice friends because the bodice of this gown is adorned with hundreds of crystals and lace detailing.

The back of the gown is an open back, which adds a more modern feel to this classic style. Cinderella’s ball gown is layered, which is what creates such a large and beautiful skirt.

The Cinderella-inspired wedding dress had length and layer to the skirt and train, but in less of a cartoon way, and more of a real-life fantasy kind of way!

Jasmine Wedding Dress

This Jasmine inspired wedding dress is shining, shimmering, and splendid.

The detail on this dress might be my absolute favorite, because the bodice and neckline of the gown are almost identical to that of Jasmine’s staple blue two-piece set in the movie, Aladdin.

The off-the-shoulder bodice is decorated with Venise lace and crystals.

Pocahontas Wedding Dress

Pocahontas doesn’t have a grand or decorated dress like some of the other princesses. Pocahontas wears a powerful, detailed, and unique dress, which gave the designers at Allure Bridals a lot to work with!

This gown is an empowering and fierce design. The Pocahontas-inspired wedding dress is adorned all over with a stunning motif.

The dress is clasped at the back with covered buttons that trail down to the bridal cape.

Rapunzel Wedding Dress

This dress was designed to be worn on the best day ever: your wedding day!

This Rapunzel inspired wedding gown pulls inspiration from the playful purple dress our favorite blondie wears throughout her film, Tangled.

The back of this dress is garnished with a soft, sheer tulle ribbon, which is meant to replace a traditional veil.

Because Rapunzel is one of the newest Princesses, it makes sense that this design would have a modern twist to it.

Snow White Wedding Dress

Snow White is the original Disney Princess and this gown envelops the vintage and classic spirit and style of a Disney Princess.

A Disney Princess is bold, elegant, and layered, and that is exactly what this dress is.

This dress is embellished and detailed to perfection– no wonder she was the fairest one of all, look at this gown!

The lace is accented with glittering blossoms and floral designs, which overlays the many layers of tulle and organza of the skirt.

Tiana Wedding Dress

This is the perfect dress to go down the bayou– I mean aisle in!

What a perfect way to honor the glitz and the glam of Tiana than with this phenomenal layered dress.

When Tiana is envisioning Tiana’s Place in a daydream, she wears a flapper-inspired dress, which looks a lot like the Tiana Dress from the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection.

This gown is delicate and sweet, and it is layered with tulle and lace that creates a style that pays homage to the jazz era!
