by | Aug 26, 2024 | Disney Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line News, Disney Destiny

While we still have the Disney Treasure to look forward to in 2024, next year will bring two new ships to the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The Disney Adventure will set sail in Singapore, but with the Disney Destiny set to have its maiden voyage in the U.S. Now, we have a date and more information on what to expect from the latter of those ships!

Disney Destiny Maiden Voyage

The Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 20, 2025. The maiden voyage will be a special four-night cruise, including stops at both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

The maiden voyage will be followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Each sailing will include stops at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay (with some itineraries including both). And select cruises will stop in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico. More dates and itinerary details will be available before bookings open to the general public on September 12, 2024.

The exciting ship will be filled with new entertainment and dining opportunities you won’t find anywhere else. This will include a first-of-its-kind dining experience based on The Lion King, Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King. Additionally, there will be a new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed pub, named Cask and Cannon.
