Checking Out the Coveted Adults-Only Rainforest Room On Disney Cruise Line

by | Nov 6, 2023 | Disney Cruise Line

We’re sharing a closer look at Disney Cruise Line’s Rainforest Room, one of the best-kept experiences you can find on all Disney Cruise ships.

The Rainforest Room aboard Disney Cruise Line’s fleet is one of the most popular, yet hidden, experiences. If you know about this coveted room, you know how amazing it is. But if you have never heard of the Rainforest Room, here is everything you should know ahead of your next cruise.

What is the Disney Cruise Line’s Rainforest Room?

The Rainforest Room is still one of the best-kept secrets on a Disney Cruise! It is an adult-only spot within the spa section and can be found on all Disney ships – including the Disney Wish.

It is a limited-access area where guests will find steam rooms, showers, and even stone lounge chairs, making for the perfect getaway spot for relaxation. The only difference between the Rainforest Room on the Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream compared to the other ships is that guests can also utilize two hot tubs that overlook the front of the ship and it is much larger than the Rainforest Rooms on the other three ships.

Additionally, on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream, there are three steam rooms whereas on the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic, there are only two steam rooms.

The Showers in the Rainforest Room Are Like No Other!

One of the best parts about the Rainforest Room on Disney Cruise Line is the showers. If you have ever cruised on a Disney ship before, you know the showers in the staterooms are a bit on the smaller side.

Those guests who are tall can find it uncomfortable to shower due to their height and the narrowness of the showers, but if you get the Rainforest Room pass, you will have access to the showers, which even have aromatherapy features! But that’s not all because select ships even included flashing lights and sound effects to mimic a rainstorm – talk about taking the perfect shower.

How Much is a Disney Cruise Rainforest Pass?

The price of the Rainforest Room varies from cruise to cruise and ship to ship. Previously, guests would have to book the Rainforest Room the moment they stepped aboard, however, in recent months it seems Disney has changed that and now releases a handful of Rainforest Passes to book the moment you can book excursions.

As an example of how much a Rainforest Pass could cost, on the Disney Magic for a 5-night cruise the cost was $99/person. If you want to book the Rainforest Room on your next cruise, be sure to do so early because even though this is Disney’s best-kept secret, many cruisers know about it and it books up quickly!
