How to Book Disney Cruise Line “Extras”

by | Nov 27, 2023 | Cruise Itineraries, Disney Cruise Line, Ports of Call

Wondering how you can book those “extra” non-included experiences on Disney Cruise Line? We’re sharing the full process.

Are you planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation? Did you know that in addition to the many free activities on board, you can also book “extras” for an additional fee? These “extras” include activities such as massages and pedicures at the spa, a complete makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, a romantic dinner at one of the adult-only restaurants, and Port Adventures.

How Can You Book Disney Cruise Extras?

Before booking these extras, you must have paid your Disney Cruise vacation in full and complete online check-in. Once you have completed your online check-in you will be able to start the process of adding many onboard activities – such as adult dining and spa reservations – as well as port adventures.

You can find your booking window in the official Disney Cruise Line Navigator App after you connect your reservation. Once you are logged in to the Disney Cruise Line page from check-in – either on a desktop or on the app on your phone, you will then want to select “My Plans” or “Book Now” to begin selecting activities.

Your Disney Cruise Line itinerary will then pop up (i.e. Day 1: At Sea, Day 2: At Sea, Day 3: Disney’s Castaway Cay.)

Disney Cruise Extras During “At Sea” Days

During your “At Sea” days, you can select “Onboard Fun” or “Dining”, which will allow you to book those things such as a Disney Photo Package, Golf Simulator, Beverage Tastings, or Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. For “Dining,” you can choose activities such as a brunch experience at Palo or a romantic dinner at Remy’s.

Extra During Port Of Call Days

For your Port Adventures, these will be offerings that you can book during the days you are in port. Choose from adventures such as off-roading in an ATV or zip-lining – or for those who wish to relax, you can book a day at the beach or a sightseeing tour around the city.

If a Disney Cruise Line ‘Extra’ is sold out, it will show at the bottom of the page. Be sure to keep checking in the days leading up to your sail away date as sometimes more slots open up. You can also book select activities once you are on board by visiting the Port Adventures or Guest Services desk, or by opening up the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

Booking Extras Aboard a Disney Cruise Line Vacation

Once you find an activity you would like to book, click the “Select” button. This will take you to a new screen, which will allow you to choose the Guests who wish to participate in this activity, and then the time slots that are available will pop up. Choose a time that best fits your schedule and needs, and then click confirm. If the booking is successful, you will see a “congratulations” page pop up.

The website won’t let you book activities where times will overlap, and you can only book Remy, Palo, and special meet and greets once each.
