Disney Cast Member Kevin Brassard played a pivotal role in the history of Indiana Jones within the Disney Parks. Brassard originated the title role in the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular when it premiered more than three decades ago at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
As part of the premiere, Brassard was able to meet another iconic Indiana Jones — Harrison Ford himself! The actor greeted Brassar along with his guest, fellow Disney stunt performer Michele Waitman. Speaking of the meeting, Brassard said, “When I said to him, ‘I’m the man that’s been lucky enough to portray Indiana Jones that you created for the past 34 years,’ he thanked me.”
Brassard started his Disney career years ago, performing in the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds. Soon after, he was selected to be the first Indiana Jones stunt actor when the show premiered in 1989. Brassard continued on with the show, playing the role of the “Director” as well as acting as a trainer to pass the torch to fellow Indiana Jones stunt performers. Michele Waitman also has a history with the show — one that has continued to further generations! Waitman shared that she has twin boys who are both in the show now!

When attending the premiere, both Brassard and Waitman shared that, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will always be an unforgettable Disney cast member memory. We so appreciate Disney making this huge dream come true. We are so proud to be able to represent the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, and what’s even more important to us is that both of us feel so supported by the rest of the cast—they’re so happy we’re here!”
