One of the most charming elements of the celebration can be found right on Buena Vista Street, where Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse debut all-new anniversary outfits beginning February 6.

Starting July 2, 2026, the experience shifts to the brand-new Soarin’ Across America, created in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. This new version promises an airborne tour across iconic U.S. landmarks, expanding the attraction’s storytelling while keeping its signature soaring sensation.
Special 25th Anniversary Food, Buckets, and Merchandise
Limited-time treats, collectibles, and souvenirs are a major part of the anniversary celebration, with offerings available beginning February 6, 2026. At Schmoozies!, guests can indulge in a decadent cake shake through February 15. The colorful confetti shake is topped with strawberry icing, whipped cream, sprinkles, and an entire slice of cake, making it a festive dessert that feels worthy of a 25th birthday celebration.
One of the most talked-about novelties is the Pixar Pal-A-Round Bucket, modeled after the iconic Ferris wheel on Pixar Pier. This interactive bucket features embedded “Magic Inside” technology, allowing it to react to select locations in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure with changing colors and lighting effects. On February 8, 2026 (the official anniversary date), guests entering Disney California Adventure may receive a complimentary commemorative map while supplies last.
The keepsake celebrates the park’s 25-year journey and serves as a nostalgic souvenir for longtime fans and first-time visitors alike. Quantities are limited, so arriving early increases your chances of snagging one.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa 25th Anniversary
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa holds its own special place in Disney history as the first Disney hotel built directly inside a theme park. The Craftsman-style resort welcomed its first guests on January 2, 2001, with its official grand opening taking place on February 8.
In 2009, the hotel expanded with the addition of The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, introducing Disney Vacation Club accommodations into the resort.
To mark its 25th anniversary, a limited edition commemorative pin is available at Acorns Gifts & Goods. The design features Chip ‘n’ Dale posing playfully in front of the hotel’s elegant façade, presented on a backer card inspired by the resort’s architectural style.
Humphrey the Bear at Storytellers Cafe
A brand-new character experience is debuting as part of the anniversary festivities. Beginning February 6, Humphrey the Bear makes his first-ever Disney Parks appearance at Storytellers Cafe during Donald’s Tales of Adventure dinner buffet at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
To help celebrate the 25th anniversary of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in Anaheim, Calif., Humphrey the Bear will make his debut at Donald’s Tales of Adventure dinner buffet at Storytellers Cafe at Disneyland Resort, beginning Feb. 6, 2026. Humphrey, the snack-loving grizzly from classic Disney animated shorts, is known for his mischievous interactions with Donald Duck and Goofy. His antics even inspired Humphrey’s Service & Supplies at Disney California Adventure.

Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio offers a French “70” cocktail, a sparkling blend of gin, prosecco, lemon juice, and lavender simple syrup.
Kayla’s Cake features unique macaron croissants filled with strawberry yogurt custard cream or pistachio custard dusted with edible gold glitter. Wetzel’s Pretzels adds Incredi-Bitz with sweet and savory topping flavors, while Vista Parkside Market hosts a monthly cocktail tasting experience complete with collectible pins and dining credits.
