The days are starting to get longer, and the sun is finally shining a little bit brighter! Summer is just around the corner and like many of us… I cannot wait! I spend a lot of my summer at Disney World.

Due to the indefinite closures of the parks, this summer is obviously going to look a little bit different. It’s time to start our own Disney backyard party.

Summer is my favorite season to shop for. There are cute flowy dresses, bright lipstick, stylish sunnies, and of course—pool floaties! But now it feels like I don’t really have anything to shop for right now. I am not going anywhere or doing anything.

The only thing I need is to be comfortable at home—and I find so much comfort in Disney. No matter what, Disney will always put me at ease. I found some great merchandise online to Disneyfy your quarantine!

Buzz Lightyear Water Blaster

I love the idea of a water fight! Every summer, my cousins and I had “water gun fights” in the backyard—it was a staple of our summer break!

I had completely forgotten about water blasters until I came across this one on shopDisney!

The best part about it is that you don’t need a pool to have fun with this, you just need to step outside to your backyard and have your very own water gun fight! Get yours here!

Mickey Mouse Summer Fun Pool Floaties

If you have a pool then you know that everyone always wants to come over in the summer. Now, you can politely tell them, “Sorry, we’re social distancing. Next year!”

Pool floaties took Instagram by storm a few years ago and thank goodness for that! Have you ever been on one? I know they’re meant to look nice in pictures but they are remarkably comfortable!

This year shopDisney launched a Mickey-shaped ice cream pool float for you and your drinks!

What could be more perfect? Get your floating lounger here!

I thought drink floaties looked a little silly until I bought something similar to these last year at the Disney Store. They are perfectly shaped to securely hold your drinks while you enjoy the pool and the sun!

Get them here before they’re gone!

Light-Up Bubble Wand

One of the most beautiful sights at Magic Kingdom is when the bubble and lights carts roll out when the sun is starting to set.

I love it when the bubble wands are powered on and the wind carries the bubbles into the excited crowds waiting for fireworks!

I have one of these bubble wands—and I know they’re for kids, blah blah blah, but I love it. Trust me, if you buy one of these, it can turn a bad day around in a matter of seconds! Don’t believe me? Try it yourself!

Mickey Mouse Popsicle Molds

One of my best friends has a 4-year-old daughter. She loves her home-made popsicles, and I learned that it’s a big #MomWin, because you can control what exactly goes into your kids’ popsicles!

This is one of the best ways to cool off in the summer! Buy your own set of popsicle molds here

Mickey and Minnie Lawn Chairs

When I came across these sports chairs I instantly ordered them. My sister and I used to be on a baseball team and my parents would watch us play.

They’d sit at the diamond in really uncomfortable foldable chairs. They weren’t nearly as glamorous as these Mickey and Minnie chairs!

They even have a side table– that is such a luxury to have! You can set these chairs up in your yard and enjoy the summer sun and a drink!

You can buy a Minnie chair or a Mickey chair (or both!)

Cooling Aloe Gel by H2O+

So you’ve been lounging all day in your pool on your brand new Mickey ice cream floatie… and now you’re sun burnt!

Like always, Disney thinks of everything. You might be familiar with the brand H20+. It is the brand that provides all of the resorts shampoos, conditioners, and soaps.

I swear by this product! It is my favorite after sun gel to use. It is soothing and really lightweight– and always available in the hotel gift shops!

The good news is that you don’t have to go to a gift shop to buy this product! You can buy it on shopDisney.

Waffle maker

Last week I hosted my very own Character Breakfast. We had to get a little creative, but it totally worked!

One of the most successful parts of our magical breakfast was our Mickey waffle maker!

It was a great way to feel like we were really at a Disney breakfast by adding these iconic waffles to our meal.

You can buy one from shopDisney for only $35! Which is a small price to pay considering you are replicating one of the most important staples in a Disney World breakfast!

If you’re like me then you might be a Disney-Shopaholic. Don’t worry, we’re in this together, and we’ve got you covered! Subscribe now to WDW Magazine to stay up to date on all of the latest releases from WDW!
