Disney After Hours events are a great way to explore all of the magic of your favorite Walt Disney World theme parks and water parks, but with fewer crowds, shorter attraction wait times, and a whole host of extra-special experiences. These specially-ticketed events take place after the parks officially close for the night, giving Guests a rare chance to have fun in a totally different setting. And for 2023, Disney is making some fantastic changes to Disney After Hours, meaning these events are about to get even bigger and better than before.

Disney After Hours Events Will Take Place at a New Theme Park

Typically, you can experience Disney After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. But for 2023, you’ll finally have the chance to experience the event at a new theme park: EPCOT has been added to the lineup!

Starting June 1, 2023, Disney After Hours events will begin at EPCOT. These events will be just like any other Disney After Hours date, giving Guests three hours after the park gates close to access top attractions, the World Showcase, specially-themed snacks, and even exclusive Disney PhotoPass opportunities. Yep, that means you’ll be able to check out Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure without the long wait times!

H2O Glow Will Return to Typhoon Lagoon for 2023

If you’ve been waiting for news about the potential return of the special H2O Glow Disney After Hours events that take place at Typhoon Lagoon, we can confirm they’re coming back! Disney has announced that H2O Glow will be back to light up select nights when Typhoon Lagoon reopens this spring.

You won’t want to miss all of the fun of H2O Glow nights! These Disney After Hours events offer a specially themed menu of snacks and treats, the chance to ride your favorite waterpark attractions once the sun has set, and the sounds of a DJ dance party. If you have yet to experience H2O Glow, make sure to do so for summer 2023!

Additional Disney After Hours Event Dates Have Been Added

If you were worried you’d miss out on the Disney After Hours events because the dates didn’t work for you – or sold out fast! – there’s great news. For 2023, you’ll have more chances than ever to experience these special events, thanks to the addition of extra dates. 

With new events planned for EPCOT, H2O Glow returning to Typhoon Lagoon, and the usual Disney After Hours events planned for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom Park, there are plenty of dates you’ll be able to purchase tickets for. 

What are the Disney After Hours event dates? Here’s a look at when these special ticketed events will kick off:

• EPCOT: June 1
• Typhoon Lagoon: May 20
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios: May 3

More dates will be added throughout the spring and summer. Remember, there are also Disney After Hours events currently scheduled through March 27, 2023 too! You can check for available tickets and dates right now if you’re interested in attending an event at Magic Kingdom Park.

When can you buy tickets for the 2023 Disney After Hours events? Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests can purchase tickets starting February 28. Tickets will go on sale for all Guests starting March 3, 2023. Prices will range from $75 to $149 per person (plus tax). Keep in mind that tickets can sell out fast, so make sure to look for the dates you’re interested in ASAP!
