On Friday, Feb. 11, Disney debuted its newest parade, the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade at Magic Kingdom. Scroll on for photos, details, and our review.
The new Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade in Magic Kingdom puts you up close and personal with nearly 30 of your favorite Disney and Pixar pals. I was fortunate enough to have a Park Pass Reservation to Magic Kingdom the day of its debut to experience it live on its first day. I can tell you firsthand that the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade is worthy of inclusion of your plans for the day.
Go ahead and type that into Disney Genie. I’ll wait.
How to See the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade at Magic Kingdom
The new cavalcade begins at Splash Mountain and ends at the barn area at the beginning of Main Street, U.S.A. You’ve got four opportunities to catch the parade each day. At the time of publishing, these are the four Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade showtimes:
- 11:25 AM
- 2:25 PM
- 4:00 PM
- 5:50 PM
Note: Showtimes at Disney World regularly change. Check showtimes in your My Disney Experience app the morning of your visit.
I personally enjoyed watching the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade from in front of the flagpole on Main Street. Wherever you plan to view from, make sure to get there early. This cavalcade is the closest thing we’ve had to a true parade since 2020, and people are reserving good viewing spots to enjoy the cavalcade along its route.
What Characters Are in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade?
This new parade has almost 30 Disney and Pixar characters, some of whom we haven’t ever seen at Magic Kingdom before. You’ll spot Pixar characters, princesses, jungle friends, furry friends, and even Mary Poppins and Bert!
Here are just some of the characters you can see in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade:
- Miguel from Coco
- The Incredibles
- Meeko from Pocahontas
- Baloo and King Louie from The Jungle Book
- Marie from The Aristocats
- Terk from Tarzan
- Max Goof (yes, really!)
- Woody and Jessie from Toy Story
- Nick and Judy from Zootopia
- José Carioca and Panchito from The Three Caballeros
- Moana from Moana
- Merida from Brave
The parade features three floats, two smaller and one larger—and all featuring compasses. Be sure to look on the back of each of the floats, where characters can be slightly hidden from view depending on where you are seated.
The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade is much longer in duration than previous cavalcades, with the whole procession clocking in at about 2 minutes 30 seconds—and worth every second.
