Designer Mouse Ears Coming to Disney Parks!

Special, limited-release designer mouse ears and hats will soon be hitting the shelves at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Beginning May 24, guests to the resorts can purchase never before seen Minnie Mouse headbands and Mickey Mouse hats, exclusively designed by notable celebrities, designers and artists. The collection will also be available for purchase through the shopDisney online store.

The ears will be released in batches through the summer of 2020, starting with a set of star-spangled ears by HARVEYS (pictured above).

Designer Mouse Ears

Throughout the releases, guests can expect a variety of designs and artists. In the spring of 2020, Vera Wang’s bridal-inspired design, complete with hand-sewn pearl and crystal embroidery, will step onto the scene. COACH is releasing a floral, genuine leather design in the fall of 2019 (pictured above), while Cupcakes and Cashmere is bringing a mommy-and-daughter matching set in the spring of 2020.

Actress Heidi Klum designed a pair of sparkly ears fit for a princess (pictured above), coming this fall. Model Karlie Kloss’s designer mouse ears join the runway in spring 2020.

Star Wars Forces of Destiny actress Ashley Eckstein with Her Universe  is brining an out of this world design that will land this summer, just in time for Galaxy’s Edge opening at Disney World!

According to the Disney Parks Blog, artists from around the world will also expand upon the stories of some of the most beloved characters and attractions in a whole new way. Some designs from artists as featured in the WonderGround Art Galleries include: NOAH, SHAG, Jerrod Maruyama, Dave Perillo and John Coulter.

And that’s not all! Some of Disney’s own Imagineers, including Kim Irvine, Kevin Rafferty and Joe Rohde, brought their talents to the collection and designed ears inspired by Disney characters and park attractions. Check out this enchanting ear hat, inspired by the Enchanted Tiki Room (pictured below)!
