The EPCOT dining scene will grow a little bigger this spring when the park officially opens Connections Cafe and Eatery.
EPCOT has been undergoing a massive transformation ahead of its 40th anniversary this October. Already, Disney has introduced three new neighborhoods (World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature) to join World Showcase, meaning Future World is no more.
The Creations Shop and reinvented Club Cool opened last fall, we got an expanded France Pavilion for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, Space 220 delivers guests an out-of-this-world dining experience, and the Beacon of Magic initiative has utterly transformed the exterior of Spaceship Earth.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. EPCOT has promised a new Quick-Service dining experience in World Celebration, called Connections Cafe and Eatery—and we’ve finally got confirmation that it’s opening soon.
When Is Connections Cafe and Eatery Opening?
While Disney has not announced a hard date, the project is coming together fast. The first marquee has been installed, and Disney said the Quick-Service restaurant will be opening this spring.
Other plans for this year include the Guardians coaster and the Journey of Water experience (inspired by Moana). For a complete look at the transformations coming to EPCOT, check out Walt Disney Imagineering Presents the EPCOT Experience at the Odyssey Events Pavilion.
