Earlier this year, our team attended the D23 Fan Expo in Anaheim, California and spent some time at Disneyland Resort. This Christmas, Tiffany Gonzales had the chance to spend the day taking in the holidays in Walt’s original park – Disneyland! We asked her to report back on the west coast festivities. Christmas is a wonderful time of year. It’s even better when you can spend it at the happiest place on earth.

There are many Christmas celebrations going on in Uncle Walt’s playground from special treats to special activities. When you walk down Main Street USA you will find the biggest Christmas tree in all of Disneyland and many beautiful decorations.

Disneyland goes all out when it comes to hoilday treats. Candy apples in downtown Disney, Mickey Mouse shaped gingerbread beignets (they are to die for) countless cupcakes and cookies.

Santa clause makes a visit to pooh corner in critter country. Guest can wait in line to tell the big guy what they would like for Christmas, pictures are taken and Santa give each guest a candy cane straight from the North Pole.
The jungle cruise is turn until the jingle cruise, the animals are all decked out is hoilday attire, jungle snowmen and many more surprises to this classic ride that will make you want to ride it twice.

The haunted mansion is turned into the nightmare before Christmas. Jack aka Sandy Claws and all this Halloween town friends take over the mansion and turn it until a winter wonderland of ghostly portions, this is a ride you don’t want to miss.

It’s a small world also gets a make over with millions of Christmas light (must see at night) and the children are having an international celebration of Christmas. Jingle bells in sung in many different languages and each country is decorated for their holiday.

Downtown Disney is also dressed up for Christmas, Christmas my is is being played while you shop in the decorated stores. each night there is a special performance live on stage from music to ballet. There is also an Olaf’s frozen ice rink setup with a beautiful 30 foot Christmas tree in the middle.

If you want to get in the hoilday spirt, grab a hoilday turkey sandwhich from Earl of a sandwhich and walk around downtown Disney or pull up a chair a watch the nutcracker ballet.
No matter what you choose to do at Disneyland during the holidays it will be magical
