When Is Christmas at Disneyland 2022?
Mark these dates in your Disney calendar. The holiday season at Disneyland begins on November 11 and ends after January 8, 2023. That’s a little over eight weeks of Disney Christmas magic!

Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle
126,000 twinkling LED lights. Sparkling “icicles” and “enchanted” snow. Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle is a sight to behold. And it’s just as enchanting during the day as it is lit up at night.
Main Street, U.S.A. Christmas Tree
The magnificent 60-foot-tall Main Street, U.S.A. Christmas tree will return to Disneyland in 2022. That’s A LOT of ornaments to take out of storage!
“A Christmas Fantasy” Parade
Your favorite merry musical celebration is back! With a warm winter welcome from Anna and Elsa, marching toy soldiers, and a special appearance from Old Saint Nick, this is one parade that’s sure to lift your holiday spirits.
“Believe… in Holiday Magic” Fireworks (Fall 2022)
A magical snowfall over Main Street, U.S.A. will have you grinning like a kid on Christmas morning. You can also rock around the Christmas tree at the Tomorrowland Terrace holiday dance party with Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale.
Haunted Mansion Holiday (Starting September 2, 2022)
This is … Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland. Now, you might not think that the words merry and macabre go well together. But somehow, this fan-favorite holiday overlay makes it look eerily effortless (and that gingerbread house is a must-see). Season’s Screamings!
“it’s a small world” Holiday
Oooh and ahhh as the iconic façade of “it’s a small world” is lit up with twinkling lights. Inside, the dolls are celebrating their home country’s holiday traditions. Never seen it? Here are seven tips for your first holiday voyage.

Holiday Decor At Cars Land
After you check out the 50-foot-tall Christmas tree on Buena Vista Street, head over to Cars Land. Can you say, “Season’s Speedings”? Radiator Springs will be transformed into a winter wonderland. Be sure to make pit stops at Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.
“World of Color – Season of Light” (November 8 to January 6)
You’ll be mesmerized by this holly jolly spectacular. With shimmering snowflakes, sky-high fountains, and illuminated walls of mist that appear to “dance” along to classic holiday songs … how can you not believe in holiday magic?
Disney Festival of Holidays (Fall 2022)
Guests come together to celebrate Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day during the Disney Festival of Holidays. There’ll be live entertainment as well as nightly holiday concerts at the Palisades Stage in Paradise Gardens Park.
The popular Sip and Savor Pass is also returning this year! This pass (expires on Jan. 8, 2023) is good for up to eight menu items at the park’s Festival Foods Marketplace kiosks and restaurants.
Last year, Christmas came early when guests got to meet Encanto’s Mirabel for the very first time in Paradise Gardens Park. As part of Disney Festival of Holidays, your favorite Madrigal is back for more meet-and-greets! And who knows? You may just run into the voice of Mirabel, Stephanie Beatriz.
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party (Fall 2022)
Traditionally, Donald Duck and his amigos José Carioca and Panchito (better known as “The Three Caballeros”) host this holiday fiesta. They’ll be joined by Mexican folklórico dancers and Mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists and giant (12-foot tall!) mojiganga puppets of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
“Mickey’s Happy Holidays”
Who’ll be drumming up seasonal cheer? The Holiday Toy Drummers, of course! You’ll find them at Palisades Stage in Paradise Gardens Park and marching along with a cast of Disney characters during the “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” cavalcade.

Want to meet Santa Claus? Hit the trail. No, really. The man with the bag will once again greet guests at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. (He’s also been known to stop by Pooh’s Thotful Spot in Critter Country at Disneyland too.)
Christmas at Downtown Disney District 2022

Christmas at Disneyland Resort Hotels 2022
There really is no place like home for the holidays. All three Disneyland Resort hotels will be decorated for Christmas. Guests may even get a surprise visit from Santa himself! Meanwhile, the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will continue its sweet tradition of constructing a 7-foot gingerbread house for the lobby.
