Are you ready to celebrate Christmas at Disney in 2019? Disney is ready for you, with a brand-new fireworks show coming to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and select narrators for EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional announced!

Disney’s own Minnie Mouse will host the new fireworks display at Magic Kingdom’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party: Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show! This magical show will bring Christmas at Disney to the next level, with a show that can be enjoyed from across the park, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

Guests can expect to be serenaded with holiday classics including “Joy to the World,” “Deck the Halls,” “Up on the House Top,” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.” The performance is sure to bring heartfelt moments and festive fun throughout the show, before ending in a spectacular finale. 

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show will debut on the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, November 8, 2019. The party will run on select nights through December 22. If you’re looking for a special way to enjoy these fireworks, try adding on a fireworks dessert party, with dazzling, dedicated views and scrumptious treats. 

Tickets and Dates

Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are now available online or you can call the Disney Reservation Center at 407-939-1872. Here are this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates:

November: 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24
December: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22

EPCOT celebrates Christmas at Disney with the Festival of the Holidays from November 29 – December 30. One of the most beloved performances of the Festival of the Holidays is the Candlelight Processional, held in the America Gardens Theatre.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, “The Candlelight Processional is a cherished part of the Walt Disney World holiday season, combining the talents of a live orchestra, massed choir and celebrity narrator in the retelling of the traditional Christmas story in a spectacular and heartwarming performance!”

So far this year, four celebrity narrators* have been announced for the 2019 Candlelight Processional.

Whoopi Goldberg – 12/6-12/7
Pat Sajak – 12/16-12/18
Steven Curtis Chapman – 12/22-12/24
Edward James Olmos – 12/25-12/26

Candlelight Processional Tickets

The Candlelight Processional is performed three times per night (5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m.), and guaranteed seating is available by booking a breakfast, lunch or dinner Candlelight Processional Dining Package at select EPCOT eateries. Availability is limited and advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit. Bookings for Candlelight Processional Dining Packages will begin on July 3.

Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders will be allowed to purchase tickets one day in advance, on July 2. Annual Passholders should call 407-WDW-DINE while DVC Members can contact DVC Member Services at 800-800-9800.
