Check Out the Exciting New Trailer for Jungle Cruise

The summer blockbuster is back in a big way thanks to one of the world’s most massive stars. And by massive, I mean in terms of star power and physical size. Disney revealed the new trailer for Jungle Cruise on Thursday, sending us off into the weekend excited for the adventure of a lifetime. The film stars Dwayne Johnson (the aforementioned mountain of a man) and Emily Blunt. Frank is a somewhat wry riverboat captain, which means he’d be right at home as a skipper on the iconic Disneyland attraction. Blunt plays Dr. Lily Houghton, a scientist looking to find the elusive Tree of Life in the Amazon jungle. Frank and Dr. Houghton seem to find all sorts of adventure and mischief along the way based on the new trailer. This latest glimpse at Jungle Cruise gives off real Pirates of the Caribbean vibes—just swap La Quila, Frank’s humble rust-bucket of riverboat, for the Black Pearl. Jesse Plemmons plays Prince Joachim, and we can’t wait to see what he does with the role. His brief appearance in the new Jungle Cruise trailer suggests he’ll be a show-stealer. Also starring in Jungle Cruise are Édgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall, and Paul Giamatti. And, yes, Trader Sam is in the film.
