Once a year, a particular holiday comes around to remind us of who truly owns Disney fashion. National Polka Dot day is a day where we celebrate the classic style of Minnie Mouse’s iconic style, and Disney fans around the globe partake by showing off their favorite Minnie Mouse inspired outfits!

Rock The Dots is a trend within the Disney community that Disney fans on Instagram look forward to every year. It’s the most suitable day to either Disneybound as Minnie Mouse, or pay homage to her signature style by dressing up in anything and everything with polka dots!

I think that polka dots are such an underrated pattern, and we don’t wear enough polka dotted clothing! I know that some people are apprehensive to dress in polka dots because they can be viewed as a childlike pattern.

I disagree with this sentiment and I am here to show you just how you can channel your inner Disney Diva and rock the dots this National Polka Dot day!

Here are some looks that are spot on styles if you’re looking for inspiration to Rock The Dots on January 22, 2021!

Sparkly and Chic Dots by @tori.antonia

If you are new to polka dots, the best way to ease yourself into this pattern is with accessories! Here is such an easy way to add polka dots to your outfit, without it being the main focus.

Black & White Polka Dots by @lizdesilvadesigns

If you’re feeling confident, then bold and in your face polka dots are the way to go! I love this look by Liz, because it’s multilayered.

This Minnie Mouse Disneybound honors the format in which the world first saw Minnie in- black and white.

Not to mention, she was able to pair her Loungefly backpack perfectly with her ensemble!

Polka Dots from Head to Toe by @mamalorian3

Here is a great way to add polka dots to your outfit… without having to buy any polka dot clothing!

I love how creative @mamalorian3 got with her Rock The Dots look. It looks like she really wanted to be covered in polka dots from head-to-toe.

Street Style Polka Dots by @thisgirllovesmagic

This is such a chic look, and truly emulates the pizzazz and personality of Minnie’s style!

The hat, the belt, and of course the button down were a perfect combo to create a fabulous look.

Runway Ready Polka Dots by @disneybearduffy333

Make sure to swipe through all of the looks that Noah put together. These outfits inspired by the Rock The Dots trend are all fantastic, and in my opinion, Noah is ready for a one man fashion show down the runway! Absolutely fabulous!

This is how I rocked the dots in 2020, by paring my jean overalls with a sheer polka dot top. I feel like a beret always add some extra flair to an outfit, so I chose the brightest color I could find to pay tribute to the ever so stylish, Miss Minnie Mouse!
