If you love La Familia Madrigal and their amazing Casita, you have to check out these new Encanto at Disneyland features.
We’ve been talking about Bruno for months now, and we’re not the only ones. Disney’s hit animated movie Encanto recently won the Academy Award for best animated feature, and now Disneyland has announced that visitors will get to experience the wonder of the Madrigal family’s magical Casita and popular characters.
Encanto at Disneyland: “it’s a small world”
Starting on April 11 for a limited time, the facade of “it’s a small world” will light up Encanto-style to resemble the incredible Casita, with tiles flipping and moving just like the magical house in the movie.
The display pays homage to the fan-favorite song, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” with green lighting and projection effects inspired by the movie and its characters.
Encanto at Disneyland: Meet Mirabel
Visitors to Disneyland can meet Mirabel at Frontierland’s Zocalo Park. Snap a selfie with the movie’s hero in front of a backdrop that celebrates her amazing family and Colombian culture.
Encanto at Disneyland: Main Street Electrical Parade
Starting on April 22, the Main Street Electrical Parade returns to Disneyland Park, featuring an incredible finale float that includes an homage to Encanto.
The float includes lights that depict the Casita and the magical candle, with yellow butterflies surrounding them, and animated dolls of Mirabel and Antonio on top of the float.
The Main Street Electrical Parade is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, so it’s a must-see on your trip to Disneyland this year!
