Jessica Butrich is a Peruvian designer who takes pride in the handmade nature of her pieces. Known for hand-designing shoes, bags, and accessories, all of Butrich’s designs go from paper to product in a traditional Peruvian manufacturing location that hand-makes every element of every piece. And the high quality of the pieces is immediately apparent at first glimpse. From the soft leather backing of the bags all the way through to the individually stitched details, each and every piece is made by hand-from concept to creation.

Jessica Butrich’s Disney Princess collaboration was recently featured at the Wardrobe, which is the Four Seasons’ high-end, designer shopping location. The bright, open shop is the perfect location to display Butrich’s Disney collection, as her pieces intermingle brilliantly with Wardrobe’s stock. The Butrich x Disney Princess collection pop-up was the focal point as you entered the shop…and you truly couldn’t miss the display!
Jessica Butrich’s pop-up shop was available thorugh Memorial Day Weekend. If you didn’t get the chance to catch the pop-up shop, though, don’t worry! Select pieces of the Butrich x Princess collaboration will remain permanently on sale at Wardrobe after the pop-up event, so be sure to swing by the Four Seasons Orlando to pick up your favorite pieces next time you visit Central Florida!

Butrich and Disney Princess recently collaborated on a high-end, Disney-inspired line that allows fans to show off their Disney fandom by way of handmade, designer pieces! The pop-up shop features pieces from five of Butrich’s favorite Disney Princess stories: The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Snow White, and Cinderella.
We had the chance to speak to the designer at the pop-up and asked her to tell us a little bit about her favorite pieces and what goes into her design process. “I love color. Color shows my personality, and I love that [the Disney Princess collaboration allows] me to use it so much!”
Butrich also highlighted a few of her favorite pieces. She pointed out this Ariel-inspired, purple seashell clutch! She noted that fans of The Little Mermaid will recognize the shape and color immediately and that the bag can convert to a crossbody via an included chain strap attachment!

Butrich is also a master of weaving the element of surprise into an unassuming-looking piece. Butrich showed us how her passport holders feature a prominent design on the outside and continue to tell a colorful story via the inner lining.

The Snow White-inspired bag looks to be a plain, velvet heart with gold embroidering from the outside. But once you open the zipper, a vivid image of Snow White is revealed to the wearer! The Cinderella heels were my personal favorite shoes at the pop-up shop. Each element, from the tiny leather tourettes of Cinderella Castle to the even tinier twinkling star stitching, was sewn by hand in Peru!
High-End Fashion Meets the Disney Fandom

Butrich’s Disney Princess collection truly exudes elegance. Just by seeing, photographing, and holding the pieces from the collection, it’s immediately apparent how well-made the items are. The brightly colored leather pieces have a softness and vividness to them unmatched by items of lesser quality, and the velvet elements of the shoes and bags are visibly rich in both color and texture, and the craftsmanship in both the design and the execution should not be lost on the wearer.
These pieces are not meant to be worn around a theme park, to be thrown in lockers, or shoved in between seatbelts at attractions. Butrich’s Disney Princess collaboration is meant for those who wish to show their Disney fandom through extraordinary, hand-made, designer pieces that exude the true elegance of a Disney Princess.
