The Disneyland Hotel’s long-shuttered lounge has been reimagined into a new space filled with food, drinks, and plenty of magic.
If you’ve been wondering what Disney was planning to do with the empty space for the Disneyland Hotel’s former lobby lounge sitting just off of Goofy’s Kitchen, good news: The lounge has undergone a big transformation.
The former lobby lounge is now open to guests once again as the enchanting Broken Spell Lounge.
This revamped space, which used to welcome guests headed to dine at the now-shuttered Steakhouse 55, reopened on October 21, 2024 with its new name and a fresh look.
The Broken Spell Lounge is a cozy space to grab a cocktail or glass of wine, a bite before heading to dinner, or even a full meal (if your appetite allows!). This enchanting space has been redesigned to draw inspiration from the classic Disney film Sleeping Beauty, making guests feel as though they’ve been transported into a fairytale forest.
On the menu, you’ll find everything from dry-rub chicken wings and classic Caesar salad to truffle fries and charcuterie pizza. When it comes to drinks, intriguing concoctions like the Inca Orchid, Smoked Cocoa, and Silver Cream use creative ingredients like mezcal, house-made syrups, and absinthe to create spellbinding sips.
Guests visiting the Disneyland Hotel – or the larger Disneyland Resort – can stop by the Broken Spell Lounge daily beginning at 4 PM.
