BREAKING: Disneyland Resort Reopens for Non-Californians on June 15

Non-Californians, rejoice! Disney announced Wednesday that Disneyland Resort reopens for out-of-state visitors effective June 15, 2021.

Disneyland Resort opened the gates once again on April 30 of this year, but strictly limited attendance to residents of California. Thanks to the successful rollout of vaccinations nationwide, however, that restriction goes away in just a few short weeks.

If you’ve been biding your time to revisit Disneyland Resort or feel like now is the right time for your first visit, the moment to act has come. You can book your visit right now at Disneyland.com and be one of the first out-of-staters to visit from June 15 and beyond.

Better still, Disney is extending the booking window to 120 days. That means you can book your visit up to four months in advance, giving you plenty of time to properly plan a big trip.

Up until then, current protocols remain in place. Guests visiting through June 14 must be residents of California and can’t visit in groups larger than three households.

While there won’t be any restriction in place based on your vaccination status, the State of California strongly recommends being fully vaccinated and having a negative COVID-19 test result prior to visiting.

Visitors to California who make the pilgrimage to Disneyland from June 15 will have plenty of cool new things to check out.

One of the coolest for sure is the all-new Avengers Campus, which opens at Disney California Adventure Park on June 4. There, you can try your hand at being Spider-Man and pick up tons of awesome new merch.

Don’t forget that Disneyland Hotel opens on July 2, so some strategic booking could ensure you’re one of the first guests back. And on June 15, the Paradise Pier Hotel opens for business and welcomes back out-of-state guests.

It’s been a long time coming, but a long-overdue visit to the happiest place on earth is back on the table for non-Californians. Clear your calendar and get ready to make up for lost time when Disneyland Resort reopens to all Americans on June 15.
