At long last, Disneyland nighttime shows return to the parks this spring, in addition to the Main Street Electrical Parade with a brand-new finale.
Nighttime spectaculars are a pinnacle of the Disney experience, but the skies above Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure have been notably dark since reopening after the COVID shutdowns. Guests have clamored for the return of shows like World of Color and Disneyland Forever—and we finally know when they’re returning.
Disneyland Forever Fireworks Return to Disneyland Park
Starting April 22, 2022, Disneyland Forever will light up the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park. However, in the spring, the show will only run on weekends (Friday through Sunday) while the Mickey’s Mix Magic projections-only show will play during the week.

But once summer rolls around, Disneyland will move to showcasing Disneyland Forever every night.
World of Color Returns to Disney California Adventure
World of Color is an unforgettable show that plays out in the sky and on the waterfront of Pixar Pier. This dazzling show returns April 22, 2022, and will resume the schedule it held before it was paused.

We hope that means we’ll get the special variants of the show that mark different seasons and holidays.
Fantasmic! Returns Later in the Spring
We’ll have to wait a little longer for the return of Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park. Disney has said the show will come to life once more on May 28, 2022.

Main Street Electrical Parade Gets New Finale
Perhaps the most exciting news about live entertainment returning to Disneyland comes: Main Street Electrical Parade returns April 22, 2022.
