Disney announces their all-new, year-long event, The Ultimate Princess Celebration, spotlighting the bravery, courage, and kindness of all your favorite Disney Princesses!

Transform into your ball gown, sing a heartfelt song, and grab your animal sidekick! For every Disney Princess at heart, it feels like Christmas morning.

Announced today, The Walt Disney Company is launching a global initiative called The Ultimate Princess Celebration.

The campaign includes a new Disney Princess logo, and a special focus on the empowering qualities of our favorite heroines, such as bravery, kindness, leadership, and determination.

The Ultimate Princess Celebration is brimming with countless exciting projects and events. Here are just a few royal treats the year-long Ultimate Princess Celebration has in store for us!

Songbirds: Princesses Belt it Out

Disney will be kicking off The Ultimate Princess Celebration with an all-new song from the 1997 Cinderella actress and Grammy winner, Brandy. 

The anthem for the campaign, entitled “Starting Now”, will be released on May 21st with a music video to follow this summer. Until then, you can sing your heart out to a newly-curated Disney Princess playlist right here.

Disney Princess – The Concert is a new, live concert series that will tour, debuting November 1st. 

It will feature iconic Broadway sensations such as Tony nominee Susan Egan (Broadway’s original Belle in Beauty and the Beast, and the voice of Megara in Hercules).

A new collection from Disney Publishing Worldwide, Tales of Courage and Kindness, is a series of short stories highlighting the Princesses’ empowering qualities. 

The book is available for free download right here now through August.

Some of the stories from the book will be available with special audio narration by the voices of the  Princesses themselves. 

Stay tuned for special appearances by Auli‘i Cravalho, Anika Noni Rose, and Mandy Moore. A special excerpt of the book is already up for viewing, narrated by Kelly Marie Tran, the voice of Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon. You can check that out right here.

Kindness: The Gift of Gowns

Disney and Starlight have teamed up for a heartwarming initiative, designing Disney Princess and Frozen hospital gowns for children to boost their confidence by channeling their favorite character’s bravery.

Disney and Starlight will be delivering the magic to pediatric facilities across the States this year by donating hospital gowns and pant sets to provide a sense of normalcy and comfort to ill children staying in the hospital.

Disney will also be surprising patients with deliveries of toys, books, and games to children during their hospital stays.

Disney has highlighted new fantastic merchandise, and promised tons of other must-have princess items coming our way, from home decor, to jewelry, to accessories, and toys.

With new Princess Funko Pop figures, adorable bathing suits for children (and do I ever wish the Queen Anna version was available in my size), dolls, LEGO, and lots more, there is something for every princess fan.

We can expect to see unique apparel, makeup, and much more coming from brands such as Love Your Melon, Enchanted Disney Fine Jewelry, Besame Cosmetics, and Lokai.
