With so many quick service restaurants around World Showcase and festival booths popping up around nearly every corner at EPCOT, you might be tempted to skip a sit-down reservation when you’re here. But, you’d be missing out on some amazing food!

The Best EPCOT Restaurants

After eating my way around the park (yes, even the less-than-stellar spots), I’ve narrowed it down to just six table-service restaurants that you should try at least once! These are my picks for the best EPCOT restaurants.

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria: Best EPCOT Restaurant for Pizza and Groups

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzzeria is one of the few restaurants in Disney World that I could eat at over and over again and never get tired of. Located in the Italy Pavilion around World Showcase, if you’re searching for the best pizza in EPCOT, Via Napoli consistently ranks at the top. What’s their secret? It’s authentic – or…at least, as authentic as it can get when you’re in the middle of Florida instead of Naples. Disney actually imports some of the ingredients (including the flour and water) to mimic the kind of pizza you might actually eat if you were across the globe.

But don’t worry if pizza’s not your thing. Via Napoli also has a full menu of Italian favorites, including pastas and fresh salads. So, even non-pizza lovers (if those even exist) should enjoy their meal here.

While there’s nothing overly impressive about the atmosphere here, it does still feel very authentic. There’s even an open kitchen where you can catch a glimpse of the wood-fired ovens that turn out the delicious thin-crust Neapolitan pizzas. Each one is named after Italian volcanoes, Vesuvio, Etna, and Stromboli.

The large pizzas are made for sharing, so this is a perfect stop for lunch or dinner if you’ve got a crew. Just keep in mind that reservations are highly recommended, especially around peak mealtimes. 

Biergarten Restaurant: Best EPCOT Restaurant for Atmosphere and Buffet Dining

It’s Oktoberfest all the time in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion at Biergarten Restaurant! This is one of the most unique EPCOT table-service restaurants thanks to its immersive theming and all-you-care-to-enjoy menu. When you step inside, you’ll feel like you’re actually stepping outside under the twinkling night of a Bavarian village, fit with long communal tables and a central stage where an oompah band plays traditional German music throughout the day. It’s one of those rare restaurants where the atmosphere alone makes the meal unforgettable, and the food only makes it better.

Biergarten offers one of the few buffets in EPCOT, and it’s all-you-care-to-enjoy German fare at its finest. From bratwurst to sauerkraut to warm pretzel rolls, the meal (and dessert!) here doesn’t disappoint. Thanks to the buffet-style, you can sample a little bit of everything or pick and choose what you like best, making it a great option for adventurous and picky eaters alike.

The communal tables may not be everyone’s cup of tea, as you may be seated next to other families if you’re traveling with a smaller party, but I’ve never found this to be a detriment. Plus, if you’re at Disney with a big group, this place is built for you!

Biergarten is best enjoyed for lunch or dinner when you’re ready to sit back, relax, and enjoy the show (and meal). Reservations are recommended and can fill up, so be sure to book early!

Le Cellier Steakhouse: Best EPCOT Restaurant for Date Night and Special Occasions

While I don’t recommend dining at Le Cellier Steakhouse every time you’re in EPCOT, this is my go-to spot for a romantic night out or special celebration. Nestled inside the Canada Pavilion, Le Cellier is widely considered one of the best signature dining experiences in EPCOT. Themed to make you feel like you’ve entered a cozy, candlelit wine cellar, it’s easy to feel like you’re not in the middle of a busy theme park when you’re here.

But it’s not just the atmosphere that makes Le Cellier stand out; the food is seriously good. This is one of the best places to order a steak in Disney World, and the Canadian cheddar cheese soup is basically a legend among frequent Disney-goers. Pair it with the pretzel bread that comes with the bread service at the beginning of your meal, and you may not have enough room for your full meal after – it’s that good.

Eating here is definitely a splurge, both in price and experience, which makes it best for anniversaries, date nights, or when you really want to treat yourself. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, which means that reservations book up quickly, so be sure to make them early if you want to snag a certain time and date.

Chefs de France: Best EPCOT Restaurant for a Relaxing Lunch

Chefs de France is one of my favorite spots to eat at when I need a break from the EPCOT hustle, especially during lunch or early dinner. Located in the France Pavilion, if you’re looking for a reliable EPCOT restaurant without the signature price tag, this is a top choice.

The menu is full of French classics like French onion soup, duck confit, ratatouille, and crème brûlée that are sure to please almost anyone. And, while it’s not as formal (or expensive) as the signature dining upstairs at Monsieur Paul, Chefs de France consistently delivers a great meal with consistently good service that will get you back to enjoying the rest of your day at EPCOT.

Rose & Crown Dining Room: Best EPCOT Restaurant for Fireworks Dining

If you’re looking to book an EPCOT fireworks dining package but aren’t sure which restaurant is best, let me direct you to Rose & Crown Dining Room. While the cozy, pub-style dining room inside is charming, the real draw here is the patio. Perched right along the edge of World Showcase Lagoon in the United Kingdom Pavilion, this restaurant offers the best views of the park’s nighttime fireworks display. Just be sure to book your dining package reservation as early as possible, as spots fill up fast.

Garden Grill Restaurant: Best EPCOT Character Dining Experience

Character dining is limited in EPCOT, but that doesn’t mean you have to settle for a lesser experience! While Garden Grill tends to fly under the radar of first-time Disney-goers, it’s one that I always recommend. This family-style dining spot is truly one of a kind, and not just because of the food or the character interactions (though those are top-notch), but because the entire restaurant slowly rotates as you dine! It sits over a portion of the Living with the Land attraction inside The Land pavilion, giving you a rotating view of the different scenes below throughout your meal.

What makes Garden Grill stand out from other character meals is just how relaxed it is. Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale visit each table (in their adorable farmer outfits), but unlike some character dining experiences, you won’t feel rushed. You get plenty of time for hugs, photos, and autographs throughout your meal, and they may even stop by twice depending on how busy it is!

The menu here is served family-style, with classic comfort foods like roast turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, grilled beef, and seasonal veggies (some of which are grown right at EPCOT!). There’s also a plant-based platter for vegetarians.

I recommend making a reservation for breakfast or lunch if you want to eat here, so you can fill up for the day and avoid having to wait in long park lines to meet characters later in the day. Reservations are a must, particularly during the busy seasons, due to the limited number of tables. But, once you’re seated, you’ll find that it’s a more laid-back character meal than most!
