Reporter, Julie de la Fe: “Outside of the waffle being fresh, this was nothing special. The ganache is just chocolate syrup in a can and then normal whipped cream. Wouldn’t spend money on this again.”
Alternative: Warm chocolate pudding cake from the Ireland booth!

2022 Beer-braised Beef Reviews
- Beer-braised Beef; $5.75
- Served with smoked gouda mashed potatoes
Reporter, Julie de la Fe: “One of my favorites and I will get it again. It’s like mom’s pot roast with gouda mashed potatoes. Beef and carrots are stewed. Definitely more satisfying in cooler weather but delicious just the same.”
Photographer, Laurie Sapp: “The Beer Braised beef with smoked Gouda Mashed potatoes was excellent. I enjoy anything with Gouda so this was right up my alley. The potatoes were warm and smooth and the beef tender and full of flavor. This was a good value for the money and a favorite that will be on my list for my next visit. “

2022 Belgium Waffle Review
- Belgian Waffle; $5.00
- With berry compote and whipped cream
“If you like a soft waffle, then this one is for you. But if you are looking for a crispy outer layer, then this isn’t the dish for you. We think maybe the berry compote was sitting on the waffle too long before serving, as this is a mushy meal for one. Texture aside, the berries were delicious with the whipped cream.”
