2022 Lamb Chop Review

  • Roasted Lamb Chop; $8.25
    • 🙂 Gluten/Wheat-friendly
    • Served with Sweet Potato Purée, Bush Berry Pea Salad, and Pistachio-Pomegranate Gremolata

“ “This is a favorite of the fest. The lamb is done to perfection and the sweet sauce compliments it well. To prevent too much mush, the pistachios give some crunch. My favorite part, though, is the sweet potato puree… mashed sweet potatoes as we call ’em in the south.””

2022 Grilled Sweet-and-Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp Review

  • Grilled Sweet-and-Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp; 6.00
    • 🙂 Wheat/gluten friendly
    • With pineapple, pepper, onion, and snap pea

“I can’t eat a lot of spice, and I have this shrimp every year! It’s got just the right amount of seasoning without being too hot to handle. The snap peas were crisp and the pineapple added just the right amount of sweetness. There is a lot of shrimp at the fest this year, but this one is my favorite.”

2022 Lamington Cake Review

  • Lamington Cake; $4.50
    • Yellow cake with raspberry filling dipped in chocolate and coconut

“This yellow cake was light and moist. It was taken out of the refrigerator so when I got it it was nice and cool.  If you like coconut this is for you. The chocolate iced top was loaded with coconut.  I am not a big fan of coconut so I was able to easily scrape off the excess and still enjoy a delicious sweet treat.”
