Seafood Boil

Shrimp, mussels, crawfish, potatoes, corn, and Andouille sausage.

WDW Magazine Communications Director, Tatjana Lazar: “Holy moly, this was difficult to eat. If you’re not a regular seafood connoisseur, be warned. I didn’t know how to get into a crawfish (or whatever that mini lobster was) before this. That said, this is very tasty. The broth that it’s boiled in has a nice, deep, savory flavor. It had the right amount of spices in there. Though I struggled with the crawfish, the rest of the seafood, like the mussels and shrimp, were really good. The corn was a little overcooked, but the potato and the sausage were wonderful, if not a little salty.”

Grilled Oysters

With Cajun butter.

  • Gluten- and wheat-friendly

WDW Magazine Editorial Director, Rain Blanken: “These oysters didn’t have as much flavor as I was hoping for. We’ve got a lot of oyster bars to choose from here in Florida, so these needed to be pretty good to compete. The oysters were cooked well, but we would have liked more crispy breading and flavor to the fixins.”

House-made Boudin Bites

Featuring Ben’s Original Long Grain White Rice.

WDW Magazine Communications Director, Tatjana Lazar: “I found it interesting that it was fried rice balls … on top of more rice. That said, these are delicious! There’s a nice and light crispy fry on the balls themselves. The bed of wild rice had a nice, chewy texture.”

Pecan Praline

  • Gluten- and wheat-friendly

WDW Magazine Communications Director, Tatjana Lazar: “This is a sugar-heavy dish. You’re gonna want a toothbrush after this. If you’re not interested in a sugary sweet dessert, I recommend trying the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Tart at the Cider House booth.”

Orange Coriander Wheat Ale

Disney Parks Fan, Ashley Chen: “This is your standard wheat ale, but it carries a light taste of orange. If you’re hesitant about the coriander, don’t worry; it’s a very mild taste.”
