All-Day Park Hopper access will be returning to Disney World! Beginning January 9th, Annual Passholders and Guests with Park Hopper tickets will no longer need to wait until 2 PM to park hop.
When Disney World closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the parks reopened with a new Park Pass Reservation system and no park hopping. Once park hopping did return, it did so with a major stipulation — no park hopping until 2 PM. Now, that rule will be changing. Disney World has shared that beginning in January 2024, all-day park hopping access will officially return.
All-Day Park Hopping Access Returning to Disney World
Disney Parks Blog shared the news that beginning January 9th, 2024, Annual Passholders and Guests with Park Hopper tickets will no longer need to wait until 2 PM to park hop. Instead, park hopping can take place at any time of day at any of the Disney World parks. Annual Passholders will still need to make a Park Pass reservation for the first park they will be visiting, and will need to have scanned in at that park before hopping to another.
Guests with Park Hopper access who have date-based tickets will not need to make a Park Pass reservation. Disney had previously announced that beginning January 9th, date-based tickets will not require a separate reservation.
“Good-to-Go Days for Disney World Annual Passholders
Also beginning in January, Disney will introduce “Good-to-go days” for Annual Passholders. On these specific dates, the Park Pass reservation calendar will be updated to show days when Passholders can visit the theme parks without a Park Pass reservation (though block out dates will continue to apply).
Dining Plan Returning in Janaury 2024
One more update coming on January 9th? The return of the Disney Dining Plan! Guests booking for vacations beginning January 9th have been able to add on the Disney Dining Plan to their vacations, marking a welcome return for many that have missed the credit-based meal system.
