It’s madder than a hatter to think that Disney’s Alice in Wonderland is 70 years young. To celebrate seven decades of the film that’s made the curious curiouser and curiouser, Disney is launching new Alice in Wonderland merch as part of the Mary Blair Collection.

Alice in Wonderland Merch in Mary Blair Collection Available from Aug. 16

The Alice in Wonderland by Mary Blair Collection launched on Monday at shopDisney.com. Pieces from the collection will also be offered at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland resort very soon.
The collection is quite the rabbit hole to tumble down. It runs the whole gamut from décor to dinnerware to clothing to toys.
If you’re not exactly sure where to begin, Disney went ahead and asked some folks who know Disney inside and out.

Nontra Null, a Disney global product designer, says that Mary Blair’s art style is “so iconic and key to the Disney original stories.” Null notes that the headband set, which includes three headbands styled after Mary Blair’s original inspirational art for Alice in Wonderland, is her favorite part of the Alice in Wonderland merch collection.

Marthe Hoffman, a designer who specializes in home products among other things, created the handsome teapot/teacup/saucer set as a tribute to Blair’s work. She hails the famed animator as “an incredible observationalist” whose work said a lot about characters.

Jessica Fuchs, a toy designer for Disney, probably puts it best: “The whole collection is all gorgeous! Seeing it all together is so cool.”
If you’re looking to give yourself some good advice, you may want to start by browsing the collection at shopDisney.com and adding your favorites to your cart. You don’t want to be late, late, late on this good stuff before it sells out.
