If you enjoy a little extra magic on your plane ride to the Disney Parks, Alaska Airlines is the place for you. The airline offers a fleet of Disneyland Resort-themed planes featuring characters including Mickey, Minnie, Woody, Buzz, and the galaxy of Star Wars. And now, a new plane has joined the fleet!

Alaska Airlines Tiana Plane

Alaska Airlines has officially debuted the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer, the first Alaska Airlines plane to feature a Disney Princess. As you may have guessed, the plane is inspired by Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, along with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride at Disneyland and Disney World.

The plane was revealed at a celebration in Portland, Oregon, where passengers boarded the inaugural flight to Orange County, California, to visit Disneyland Resort.

The plane is a Boeing 737-800, tail number N596AS, and marks Alaska Airlines’ ninth livery in collaboration with Disneyland Resort. On the outside of the plane, you’ll find images of Princess Tiana, Louis the Alligator, Mama Odie, and Prince Naveen. The design took artists over 2,000 hours to hand-paint the vibrant exterior.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer Joins Fleet of Disneyland Resort-Themed Planes

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer is only the latest Disneyland Resort-themed plane to join the Alaska Airlines fleet! Other Disneyland Resort-themed planes include:

Mickey’s Toontown Express: Featuring Mickey and Minnie, along with Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck in Mickey’s Toontown
Star Wars Transport: Celebrating Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park
Friendship and Beyond at Disneyland Resort: Featuring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie in Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure

The newest member of the fleet arrives just in time for the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, which begins May 16, 2025, and will run through summer 2026 at Disneyland Resort. Learn more about everything happening for the 70th anniversary in our guide below!
