A new Ahsoka meet and greet will soon be available for guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland.

Star Wars fans are counting down the days until the premiere of Ahsoka on Disney+. The new series follows the adventures of the beloved Star Wars character, played by Rosario Dawson. The series will begin on August 23rd with a two-episode premiere, with new episodes debuting on subsequent Wednesdays. But the series is no longer the only reason for Star Wars fans to mark August 23rd in their calendars. In celebration of the series premiering on Disney+, Disney has shared that a new Ahsoka meet and greet is coming soon!

Ahsoka Meet and Greet Coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland

Beginning August 23rd, visitors of Batuu in Disneyland may just be able to spot Ahsoka! Disney revealed on Instagram that Ahsoka will be arriving at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland beginning on August 23rd to celebrate the new series. Select guests at Disneyland were able to get a preview of the upcoming character, including DLR Reporter David Bellamy, as you can see below.

As of now, there’s no word on whether the same experience will be coming in the future to Disney World. In the past, we’ve seen characters like Mando and Grogu first appear in Disneyland before eventually becoming available to meet at Disney World as well.
