Adventures by Disney has revealed exciting new itineraries for 2027, including a few updates to their beloved Rhine River Cruise.

Adventures by Disney has announced a slate of new and returning itineraries for 2027, giving travelers even more ways to explore the world with Disney storytelling, expert guides, and thoughtfully planned experiences. Among the highlights are guided land adventures in Europe and Asia, including itineraries in Thailand, Croatia and Solvenia, as well as a reimagined Italy trip.

Adventures by Disney 2027 Itineraries

Looking to explore the world in 2027? Adventures by Disney’s newest itineraries combine immersive destinations with first-class service and hands-on cultural experiences. Whether you’re sailing through storybook villages or adding a castle-filled escape to your river cruise, these journeys are designed to bring real-world locations to life through a distinctly Disney lens.

What sets Adventures by Disney apart is how thoughtfully each trip blends storytelling, culture, and convenience. With expert Adventure Guides leading the way, travelers can relax and enjoy exclusive access, immersive experiences, and magical surprises designed for every age, without worrying about the details.

Thailand

A brand-new Thailand itinerary takes place over ten days, when travelers will get the chance to explore temples, cities, and tranquil landscapes.

Highlights will include:

• UNESCO World Heritage Site that once served as the heart of the Kingdom of Siam
• Navigating Bangkok’s historic canals by private klong boat, offering a glimpse into daily life along the waterways.
• Traveling to Chiang Mai for hands-on cooking and tea garden experiences, and learning about Thai culinary traditions.
• Cruising through the hidden lagoons and towering limestone formations within the world-famous Phang Nga Bay.
• Spotting Asian elephants from a canopy walk at an elephant sanctuary in Phuket while learning about their conservation and animal care.

The Thailand itinerary will be available for both family departures and adult-exclusive departures in 2027.

Croatia & Slovenia

A new eight-day itinerary where you can explore Croatia and Slovenia, taking in the neighboring countries.

When traveling with Adventures by Disney, guests enjoy access to iconic destinations around the globe. On the new Croatia & Slovenia itinerary, guests will kayak along the ancient walls of Dubrovnik before crossing to Lokrum Island, a lush nature reserve known for its tranquil gardens, monastery ruins and centuries‑old local legends.

Highlights will include:

• Traveling through time during a guided tour of Ljubljana Castle, featuring costumed performers who bring Slovenia’s past to life.
• Gliding across Lake Bled aboard a traditional pletna boat to visit the island church that has drawn pilgrims for generations.
• Hiking to Velika Planina, a protected alpine settlement where herdsmen have raised cattle for centuries.
• Cruising the turquoise waters of the Adriatic to explore the Elaphiti Islands, with opportunities to swim and relax on sandy beaches.
• Kayaking along the ancient walls of Dubrovnik before crossing to Lokrum Island, a natural retreat rich with legends and local lore.

A Reimagined Italy: Sicily & Amalfi Coast

2027 will also include a reimagined itinerary for Italy: Sicily & Amalfi Coast. The eight-day adventure will bring guests through southern Italy, exploring Sicily and the Amalfi Coast.

Highlights will include:

• Exploring Mount Etna, Europe’s highest and most active volcano, with guided excursions through lava fields and lava tubes.
• Visiting the ancient Greek Theater of Teatro Greco, offering sweeping views of the  Ionian Sea and Mount Etna.
• Experiencing Sicily’s artistic heritage through a private puppet show and hands-on puppetry workshop in a Sicilian puppet theater, recognized by UNESCO on its Cultural Intangible Heritage List.
• Discovering the preserved Roman town and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Herculaneum, which was originally lost to time in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
• Participating in hands-on cultural experiences, including pasta making in Gragnano, Italy’s pasta capital, and a ceramics workshop in Vietrisul Mare.

The fan-favorite Rhine River Cruise is getting a fairytale-worthy refresh in 2027, with new destinations, enhanced excursions, and subtle Disney storytelling woven throughout the journey.

More Fairytales Come to Life Along the Rhine

In addition to exploring the colorful canals and marketplaces of Colmar, guests will now visit Eguisheim, France—a charming village whose storybook streets famously helped inspire Beauty and the Beast. As you wander the cobblestone lanes, it’s nearly impossible not to hear “Bonjour!” playing in your head.

For those drawn to natural beauty and history, guests can choose between a full-day excursion to Lucerne, Switzerland—featuring the city’s historic Old Town and the Glacier Garden—or a scenic bike ride to Neuf-Brisach, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its star-shaped design and triple moat.

Each evening brings a bit of Disney magic back on board, including a Beauty and the Beast-inspired dinner menu. Be our guest, indeed.

More Flexibility in Amsterdam

The Rhine River Cruise now wraps up in Amsterdam with added flexibility, giving guests more freedom to explore the city at their own pace. Travelers can choose between a scenic canal cruise complete with local treats or a visit to Zaanse Schans, a preserved Dutch village where Junior Adventurers can decorate their own traditional wooden clogs.

Both options are offered in the morning or afternoon, making it easier to tailor the final day to your travel style.

Adventures by Disney river cruises are offered in partnership with AmaWaterways, where each ship feels like a floating boutique hotel. Expect family-friendly staterooms, regionally inspired cuisine, onboard activities for all ages, and sweeping views of Europe’s cities and countryside.

Four or more Adventure Guides sail with every cruise, handling logistics, enriching the experience with storytelling, and ensuring the journey is as seamless as it is magical.

New Munich Escape: A Storybook Extension

New for 2027, the three-day, two-night Munich Escape is ideal as a standalone getaway or as an extension to a Danube River Cruise. Guests will stay steps from Munich’s historic city center while exploring the heart of Bavaria through hands-on and immersive experiences.
