Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Club is getting an upgrade! As part of the big “Silver Anniversary at Sea” celebration that’s taking place for Disney Cruise Line’s 25th anniversary, a new tier – the Pearl tier – is being added to share more magic and more perks for loyal guests.
Castaway Club is a Guest loyalty program that recognizes those who’ve sailed with Disney Cruise Line. If you’ve been on even just one Disney cruise, you’re in the club! And you’re also eligible to receive exclusive benefits at home and onboard future cruises for an extra sprinkle of magic. So, what does the newest tier of the club have to offer? We’ve got the details below.
What is Castaway Club’s New Pearl Tier?
As members of the Castaway Club likely already know, there’s a special relationship between Disney Cruise Line and Guests. Each sailing is a truly unique experience, and it’s what keeps Guests coming back to experience the magic of the different Disney cruise ships over and over again.
The new Pearl tier of Castaway Club was created with exactly this history in mind. Disney chose to name it “Pearl” as a way of honoring those Guest relationships. Just like it takes time for natural pearls to form underwater, so do Guests build memories and relationships with Disney Cruise Line.
The Pearl tier will launch on May 1, 2023. Any Guests who have sailed on at least 25 Disney Cruise Line vacations will become members at this special level. And this incredible new tier will offer more rewards and perks than any other!
What Perks Are Included for Pearl Tier Castaway Club Members?
Because the new Pearl tier is reserved for Guests who’ve joined quite a number of Disney cruise sailings, it comes as no surprise that this level of Castaway Club membership is full of incredible perks! Here’s a look at some of what’s included for members.

Castaway Club members who reach the Pearl tier will be able to capture all of their magical memories onboard future cruises thanks to unlimited digital downloads. Each time you pop by to have photos taken with the professional photographers onboard Disney Cruise Line ships, you’ll be able to take advantage of complimentary digital downloads once you’re home.
Early Cruise Booking Opportunities
Pearl tier members will be able to book Disney Cruise Line vacations before anyone else! As a member, you’ll have access to an early booking window that opens four days before the general public can begin to book. This gives you a head start on those highly-in-demand itineraries you don’t want to miss.
Extra-Early Activity Scheduling

One of the best parts of any Disney cruise is customizing your vacation to suit your interests. Pearl tier Castaway Club members will be able to start making those customizations ahead of all other Guests, with early access to activity scheduling. This exclusive booking window for onboard and onshore activities will open 123 days before the date of your next sailing, allowing you to customize your vacation with character dining experiences, adult-only beverage tasting seminars, Port Adventures, and spa and salon appointments.
A Welcome Gift Upon Arrival
When you arrive onboard a Disney cruise ship for your next sailing as a Pearl tier member, you’ll be welcomed with a little something special. Castaway Club members who reach this level will receive a pair of standout pearlescent tumblers in their staterooms, which are perfect for using throughout your cruise vacation.
A Complimentary Signature Dining Experience at Palo

As one of the most popular – and adult-exclusive – restaurants of Disney Cruise Line, Palo is always in demand. And now, Pearl tier Castaway Club members will be able to enjoy Palo’s Italian-inspired cuisine and ideal date night atmosphere as a complimentary experience.
