Dining on a Disney Cruise is a huge part of the cruise experience! With multiple restaurants, buffets, specialty shops, and quick service options there is no shortage of delicious food to enjoy on the high seas.
For me, Disney dining is more than just what tastes good, it’s also about what looks good, so I’ve gone from bow to stern and port to starboard to find the most Instagram-able food aboard a Disney Cruise.
1. Character Coffee

Whether you’re having a quiet latte to start the day at Cove Cafe, or enjoying a cappuccino after dinner in one of the main dining rooms, Disney takes your coffee to the next level with these custom character designs.
Not all coffee beverages can get this special treatment though, you need a latte or cappuccino to provide the blank canvas for this magical artwork.

With dozens of designs ranging from beloved Disney characters to the hottest Marvel heroes and beyond you can enjoy a new character with every cup!
2. Food Displays

Make sure you look around the buffet while filing your plate or might miss some awesome food artwork. This bread pirate ship stole the show at the late-night buffet during Pirate night. The level of detail is truly amazing and it’s all edible!
3. Specialty Sippers

Castaway Cay, Disney’s own little slice of paradise in the Bahamas, adds some character love to your favorite beverage with these adorable souvenir sippers. There are tons of different designs to choose from and they can be filled with your choice of beverage (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available). It’s the perfect way to plus your visit to Castaway Cay.
4. Elegant Desserts

Take your dining to the next level with a visit to Palo (an additional fee, adults-only restaurant) aboard the Disney Dream. The brunch includes an exquisite dessert table full of perfectly plated, mini desserts, so you can sample them all! This chocolate and orange tart was simply beautiful to see and tasted divine!

5. Fancy Appies

Be sure to try out this delicious appetizer! Photo by Danny Shuster
While all the menu items in the main dining rooms were delicious I found the appetizers to be some of the more interesting items of the cruise. This tower of Ahi Tuna and Avocado with Wasabi sauce from Enchanted Garden was one of my favorite dishes I ate on the whole cruise! I love the colors and funky shape of the fried noodle garnish!
6. Crazy Confections
If you want to make a splash on your Instagram feed then steer full steam ahead to Vanellope Von Schweetz. This specialty shop offers insane candies, far-out cupcakes and the wildest flavors of gelato and ice cream you’ve ever seen. Plus there is a crazy toppings bar to take your ice cream to the next level. Check out this unicorn cupcake (confetti cake with buttercream frosting) it’s too cool!

You can get a sugar rush just walking through this amazing shop. Take your Instagram to the next level by posing with the life-size Vanellope hanging from a candy cane tree in the shop, or the amazing cookie car racer along the far wall. Vanellope’s tastes as good as it looks!
