While you’ll find children just about everywhere at WDW, that doesn’t mean that guests from honeymooners to grandparents-in-waiting can’t enjoy a more mature side to the magic. If you’re searching for a quiet reprieve, look no further than Disney’s Yacht Club Resort for your grownup getaway!

5: Signature Steaks

All of WDW’s deluxe resorts have fantastic restaurants, and the signature dining option at the Yacht Club is no exception. At the Yachtsman Steakhouse, you can expect a menu full of well-aged steaks and classic sides, gorgeous desserts, and even seasonal salad offerings with veggies grown next store at Epcot’s The Land pavilion! If a romantic dinner is on your must-do list, this is a great choice!

4: Get in Ship Shape

One thing that makes Disney’s Yacht Club Resort perfect for an adults-only vacation is their excellent facilities at the Ship Shape Health Club. Here, you can work up a sweat with cardio and weight lighting equipment, get dolled up at the salon, or indulge at the spa with a massage or perhaps a rejuvenating citrus facial!

3: Quiet Pools

The Yacht Club and its sister resort the Beach Club are often sought out for their fantastic shared pool complex – Stormalong Bay. That’s good news for grownups looking for a tranquil dip because while all the festivities are happening at the main pool, the smaller leisure pools scattered around the property are pretty quiet so you can sunbathe or cool off in the pool without a lot of commotion about.

2: Proximity to the Parks

With a prime location, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is close enough to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios that you can take a very enjoyable stroll to either park (don’t worry – the Friendship Boats can take you to your destination too). The location is particularly useful during special events like the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival or the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival which are popular with adults.

1: Lively Lakeside

Situation on Crescent Lake, not only is a stay at the Yacht Club guaranteed to provide stunning views, but guest can enjoy other aspects of lakeside living. The marina is active all day long with small SeaRaycers and larger leisure boats which can be rented by the hour. Plus Disney’s BoardWalk is a hop, skip, and a jump around the promenade so you can enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment options day and night – including the only two remaining nightclubs on WDW property after the closing of Pleasure Island.
