Gone are the days of dry Disneyland – more restaurants inside the theme park are expanding their menus to include alcoholic beverages.
Think it’s hard to find a place to grab a drink inside Disneyland? Think again! Starting in fall 2023, Disneyland Park will be expanding its offerings and adding boozy beverages to the menus of three classic restaurants. Here’s where you’ll be able to find a new bar menu during your future theme park visits.
You’ll Soon Be Able to Find Alcohol Throughout Disneyland
Disney Parks announced on Twitter that three classic Disneyland dining spots are getting refreshed menus featuring new offerings. Carnation Café, River Belle Terrace, and Café Orleans will all see updated menus starting on September 12, 2023. And in addition to new food items, Guests will also be able to order from a selection of alcoholic beverages that includes wine, beer, and specialty cocktails.
Not a fan of alcoholic beverages? There will be special sips for you to try, too! The updated menus at all three Disneyland restaurants will also include new non-alcoholic beverages (and we’re definitely hoping for some fun Disney-themed mocktails).
What, exactly, will be on the menu? Disney has yet to reveal any specifics, but we do know that you’ll be able to try these new offerings starting this fall.
Isn’t Disneyland a Dry Park?
While Disneyland was previously dry and served no alcohol within the theme park itself, that changed in 2019. The opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge brought Oga’s Cantina, a bar that served a whole slate of alcoholic beverages, along with non-alcoholic alternatives. Then, in 2021, Blue Bayou Restaurant reopened with a fresh new menu – one that included a selection of alcoholic beverages.
So, if you’re hoping to grab a drink or enjoy a little Disney happy hour during your next Disneyland Park visit, you can! You’ll be able to check out the newly-added alcoholic beverages at Carnation Café, River Belle Terrace, and Café Orleans from September 12 on.
