Trowel & Trellis Photos and Reviews
Press photos are OK, but honest reviews and on-site photos are better! Here are photos of what we were served and our candid thoughts on this year’s selections.
Street Corn Review

- Grilled Street Corn on the Cob (Gluten/Wheat Friendly, Plant-Based); $5.75
- With Savory Garlic Spread
WDW Magazine reporter, Tina Chiu: “I was so excited for the return of one of my favorite festival items but noticed a difference in the seasoning. Instead of a dry garlic spread, it came with a sauce and while it was delicious with the same flavoring, I was hoping for enough sauce for the whole corn.”
Sausage and Kale Soup Review

- [NEW] Impossible Sausage and Kale Soup (Plant-Based); $5.00
WDW Magazine reporter, Tina Chiu: “My first impression was how flavorful this soup smelled and was especially excited for the pesto flavor. It tasted like a traditional Italian wedding soup and made me feel all cozy and warm inside.”
Korean Short Ribs Review

- [NEW] Boneless Impossible Korean Short Rib (Plant-Based); $6.75
- With Cilantro-Lime Rice, Danmuji Slaw, and Kimchee Mayonnaise
WDW Magazine reporter, Tina Chiu: “This was my favorite dish from this booth! The Korean Short Rib was tender, flavorful with a kick of spice and I loved the crunch and tartness the kimchee mayonnaise provided. It also came with a large portion of cilantro-lime rice that made it worth the price!”
Lavender Pot de Crème Review

- [NEW] Lavender Pot de Crème (Plant-Based); $5.00
- With Blueberry Cake, Pink Peppercorn, and Lime Whipped Cream
This dessert is so cute and the fresh berries really add to the dish. Did we mention the flower is edible?
WDW Magazine reporter, Tina Chiu: “This dessert was so beautiful with a sparkling blueberry sauce. I however was not the biggest fan of the lavender and peppercorn mixture.”
The Trowel & Trellis booth is truly a great option for vegans, in addition to the other plant-based menu offerings at the festival.
