Pineapple Promenade Booth Reviews
Press photos are one thing, but honest reviews and on-site photos are better! Here are photos of what we were served and our candid thoughts on this year’s selections.
Spicy Hot Dog Review

- Spicy Hot Dog with Pineapple Chutney and Plantain Chips; $8.00
WDW Magazine Managing Editor, Rain Blanken: “It’s certainly spicey. I can’t take much spice, but my husband devoured this hotdog. I did really like the pineapple chutney and chips, and the bun was pleasantly soft and warm. This is the kind of gourmet hotdog that begs for long lines at fancy food trucks.”
Buttermilk Cake Review

- Mixed Berry Buttermilk Cake; $5.00
WDW Magazine Managing Editor, Rain Blanken: “This cake had a very mild flavor, and was on the dry side. Really use that compote in each bite with the cake. The result is a dessert with delicate flavors and not-too-sweet.”
DOLE Whip Review

- DOLE Whip (Plant-Based); $5.25
WDW Magazine Managing Editor, Rain Blanken: “It’s Dole Whip, all right. If you are craving this classic Walt Disney World treat while at EPCOT, the Pineapple Promenade has you covered. The portion is generous, so grab two spoons and share with a friend.”

DOLE Whip with Fanta

- DOLE Whip with Fanta (Non-Alcoholic); $6.25
WDW Magazine Managing Editor, Rain Blanken: “Ice cream floats are my favorite… I almost love soda at the bottom better than toppings. Fanta is certainly the right choice to pair with Dole Whip. If you are a Dole Whip fan and want to try something new, I recommend it.”
Violet Lemonade Review

- Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade (Non-Alcoholic); $4.50
WDW Magazine Managing Editor, Rain Blanken: “This is easily the drink of the fest! Violet lemonade is a classic, for its sweetness and photogenic looks. At the 2021 fest, this drink wasn’t too sweet…it was fruity and refreshing without a lot of sugary taste. This is why it’s a fan favorite!”
Violet Lemonade is a big deal at EPCOT. We polled our readers on Instagram to see if this is a must-sip during the Flower and Garden Festival. Out of 287 respondents, 77% said this was one drink they never miss.
