Are you DYING to get inside Disneyland’s 2021 Oogie Boogie Bash? Here’s what awaits you in the afterlife, er, park.
Halloween Time is in full swing at Disneyland, with special decorations and events in Disneyland Park, California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and the Disneyland Resort hotels. (Even the Dapper Dans are back!) But the most frightening fun happens after California Adventure closes its gates to the mortal world, trapping you inside the park for an after-hours night of magic and mayhem.
Here’s what’s in store for 2021 Oogie Boogie Bash:
- Treat trails
- “Mickey’s Trick & Treat” show
- “Frightfully Fun Parade”
- Villain’s Grove at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
In addition, guests can enjoy character sightings, special PhotoPass opportunities, delicious Halloween snacks, early entry to California Adventure before the party, and shorter wait times on E-ticket attractions.

Stake out all 10 locations using this California Adventure treat trail map:
“Mickey’s Trick & Treat” Show
Mickey and friends star in their own show perfect for little ones. Our photographer Adrienne captured some wonderful moments from this kid-friendly show with “not-so-scary Halloween tales.”
“Frightfully Fun Parade”
This cavalcade is, well, frightfully fun. Mickey, Minnie, and all of your favorite Disney Villains take part in this spooky parade that brings your favorite Halloween colors—eerie greens, purples, and oranges—aglow.
Far and away, the spookiest (and thus best) part of Oogie Boogie Bash this year is the Villains Grove area. Here, on the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, your favorite Disney baddies will play out spooky scenes in the dark. See the likes of Maleficent, Scar, the Cheshire Cat, and more along this trail.
