Mezzelune Croccanti Review

- Mezzelune Croccanti (New for 2021); $12 (DDP Snack Eligible)
- Crispy Half-moon Breaded Mozzarella-filled Ravioli with Pomodoro Sauce
Editorial Director, Rain Blanken: “Crispy on the outside, melty cheese on the inside. It’s a fried treat that is like a plate of elevated mozzarella sticks. At this price, you may be better off ordering the Crispy-fried Pepper Shrimp with Spicy Sichuan Noodles at the China booth.”
Ravioli Review

- Ravioli (New for 2021); $13 (DDP Snack Eligible)
- Grilled Chicken Ravioli with Alfredo Sauce, Romano Cheese, and Prezzemolo
Managing Editor, Timothy Moore: “Let Lady and the Tramp keep their spaghetti; this ravioli is where it’s at. This is the must-eat savory dish at the Italy booth for the 2021 Food & Wine Festival. The alfredo sauce is creamy and flavorful, the noodles are just the right amount above al dente, and the meat—there is just SO. MUCH. MEAT.”
Bomboloni Review

- Bomboloni; $11 (DDP Snack Eligible)
- Cream-filled Italian Doughnut with Raspberry Sauce and Powdered Sugar
Editorial Director, Rain Blanken: “Of all the flavors at the Italy booth this year, the bomboloni was my favorite. Imagine donut holes, but if they went to donut college and graduated with honors. The bomboloni knows what it’s doing. Best of the booth.”
Italian Margarita Review

- Italian Margarita; $11
- Tequila and Limoncello
Managing Editor, Timothy Moore: “The menu mentions limoncello, and boy will you taste it. This refreshing adult beverage is like an adult lemonade—perfect on a hot day. The icy texture qualifies it as a frozen margarita, but I found the tequila to be too subtle to notice. At $12, you’re better served by a margarita over at the Mexico Pavilion.”
