Honey Bee-stro Booth Reviews
Press photos are one thing, but honest reviews and on-site photos are better! Here are photos of what we were served and our candid thoughts on this year’s selections.
Sweet Corn Spoon Bread Review

- [NEW] Tupelo Honey and Sweet Corn Spoon Bread (Gluten/Wheat Friendly); $4.75
- With Jalapeños, Bacon, and House-made Whipped Honey Butter
WDW Magazine Managing Editor, Rain Blanken: “No shortage of corn in this bread! The corn gave texture to this soft muffin. The bread was moist and savory. Don’t lean too heavily on the bacon on the menu description. It shows two half-pieces of bacon flying out of the top, but plated, it is just one half laid neatly on top.”
Lavender Honey Mustard-marinated Chicken Flatbread Review

- [NEW] Lavender Honey Mustard-marinated Chicken Flatbread; $5.75
- With Whipped Honey-Ricotta Cheese, Marinated Vegetables, and Purple Haze Lavender Goat Cheese
WDW Magazine Managing Editor, Rain Blanken: “If you love honey mustard, this one is for you. The honey mustard was admittedly tasty, but really the whole flatbread held that flavor. We weren’t picking up any hints of lavender in the chicken. For the price, it’s a good bit of snack, but not a strong representation of what this booth can do.”
Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake Review

- Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake; $5.00
- Orange Blossom Honey Whipped Cream, Whipped Honey, Crystalized Honey, Honeycomb, Dehydrated Honey, and Fennel Pollen Meringue Kisses.
WDW Magazine Managing Editor, Rain Blanken: “This is a favorite of ours at the fest! My whole family looks forward to this cheesecake each year. It has been plated differently in 2021, but it is the same classic cheesecake with a dollop of glittering honey. The meringue kisses and various forms of honey make this one something we’d expect to see at the Festival of the Arts’ Deconstructed Dish booth. It’s that cool.”
Honey Peach Freeze in Spike the Bee Sipper

- Honey-Peach Freeze (Non-Alcoholic); $15.00
- In a Souvenir Spike the Bee Sipper Cup
WDW Magazine Managing Editor, Rain Blanken: “You already know if you want to get this sipper if you love Spike the Bee! We were pleasantly surprised to see that his wings and antennae were made of soft flexible plastic. The Honey-Peach Freeze inside was a little too milky and hard to sip out of the sipper straw. If you like heavy shakes, give this a try.”
Make sure you check back for more reviews, food photos, and menu details for the 2021 Flower & Garden Honey Bee-stro booth.
If you’re all about the honey and trying new things, you should make a stop at Honey Bee-stro. It’s an interesting booth with some yummy choices.
