Press photos are one thing— honest reviews and on-site photos are better! This is where we will post photos of what we were served and our candid thoughts on this year’s selections.
Griddled Cheese Review

- Griddled Cheese (New!); $4.50
- 🧀 Cheese from Emile’s Fromage Montage
- 🙂 Gluten/Wheat-friendly
- with Pistachios and Honey
Editorial Director, Rain Blanken: “The griddled cheese was one of the first things we ate at the festival, and we couldn’t stop talking about it all day. The honey glaze was warm on top of the crispy griddled side of this cheese slab. The cheese itself was salty and sweet. Get a knife to cut it, and be sure to gather pistachios in each bite for some texture. It’s also part of Emile’s Fromage Montage, so come get your cheese on.”
Spanakopita Review

- Spanakopita; $4.50
Editorial Director, Rain Blanken: “This is a festival favorite, and we’ve missed it since this booth hasn’t shown up in the past couple of years! Flakey pastry with creamy spinach inside; this would be perfect to munch with a wine.”
Lamb Moussaka Review

- Lamb Moussaka (New!); $7.75
Managing Editor, Timothy Moore: “Very much like a chili, this bowl of hearty goodness would be ideal on a cooler festival day. The cheese layer is generous, and the spices with the lamb offer sweet hearty bites.”
